Didn’t Elle say in the busy-ness vlog that she has a 50 hour work week? I count 3 hours per day in that schedule, which adds up to 15 hours per week if you’re Monday to Friday, and 21 hours maximum if you add the weekends. She isn’t working after hours because she goes to bed at 9:30pm.

What is she spending all of her time doing? She hasn’t had any brand partnerships lately. She vlogs twice a week when she has her shit together. She is NOT filming/editing 5-7 days a week for 1-2 vlogs. She’s so fucking trumped up all the time lol. Does she count all the time she spends trolling all her own social media accounts for likes and comments as a 50 hour work week?

ALSO when the kids eat breakfast, she has coffee? Does she not eat breakfast?

No husband time scheduled in because homegirl ain’t got a husband.

She's a busy single SAHM mom of 2 boys, a baby girl, adopted dog and cat with a Video creator/influencer business who is on a sustainable mindful slow living journey. If Elle says she works 50 hours a week despite her calendar clearly saying otherwise on a video, we better believe it. Just like when she says she is on a minimal mindfulness journey, we shouldn't question the amount she spent on her brand new spring wardrobe.

- She got rid of the wool rug because A) she tried to wash it, it wouldn't dry and it stunk and B) she says Ellie was peeing on it "when she had cancer". Not entirely sure why she doesn't still have cancer but I'd better not pry into the very private life of her dog. (In reality she's working with Ruggable for a sponsorship).

- she can hardly count her "work" as "work". She cleans her home for 6 hours on and off, films it and calls it "work". Most moms actually have to work an 8-12 hour day and then come home and do everything she does. She's so full of BS going on about an 80 hour work week. Give me a break.

- Oreos and Halo -perfect! I nearly choked.

safe to say, her rug was perfectly fine, she just needs a way to be able to say “I have a shopping problem and need new shit constantly in order to feel validated” and what says it in a slower more mindful way than a sponsorship?

As someone who is sO eThIcAl, you’d think she would be aware of how much she’s contributing to consumerism waste. Actually, on second thought, she’s likely fully aware, but chooses to ignore it because #shinynewthings and she probably hopes all of her dumb sheep won’t pick up on it. But just in case they do, she can block and delete!

Margie, your comment made me realize something. Maybe this has been said before and I missed it, but it just dawned on me now.

Isn’t it sort of hypocritical of Elle to be all mindful and minimal etc etc etc whatever the fuck adjectives you wanna throw in there...and then constantly be like shop my affiliate links! Buy this shit I’m being paid to talk about! She is still getting the gratification and validation she needs from shopping through other people spending their own money with her encouragement.

It seems SO WEIRD to me that she’s preaching mindfulness while also selling? Even her fucking ceramics...LOOK HOW SLOW AND MINDFUL I AM...check my IG later, it’ll be for sale!

So in the interest of keeping this anonymous I'm calling this person "my friend".
So "my friend" signed up before last friday for the newsletter. Never got one until Sunday the 19th. IT WAS 100% BASICALLY AN EXACT SCRIPT OF SUNDAY'S VIDEO. Like, exactly the video.
Now tonight "this friend" got another one (actually on time this time, I'm shocked). This week's topic is "Where do emotions REALLY come from?". I'm interested to watch the video and follow along with the newsletter that this person forwarded to me and see if it's the same this week. And it's all basically the same stuff she talks about during the laundry folding fiascos. She thinks she's the be all and end all of "lifecoaches" (I don't even know what to call her type of illusion). What a crock.

If anyone is ACTUALLY interested in learning about The Two Emotions Theory I highly suggest looking into the works of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. She's the American psychiatrist who studied the theory that every human emotion is driven by only Love and Fear. I know this because I read a few of her books quite some years ago. Elle's video pretty much plagiarizes her works word-for-word and I think it should be reported, but hey, that's just me. Elisabeth has studied human emotions for decades while Elle spent 5 minutes googling interesting things she could pass off as her own and spent an hour (oh sorry, *80 hours a week*) making a video after she got her kids to bed. Man is she awful.

At least one good thing came out of this video, this shot. Anyone good at photoshopping and can make her into a T-rex?

At least someone had the guts to call Elle out on not including her sources. We all know Elle is no professional in any realm. I actually feel like this new series really highlights how fake Elle really is. Always trying to be the “expert” everyone, including herself, knows she’s not.

So satisfying someone called out her plagiarism . Elle thinks her audience can't think for themselves and needs to be influenced to be inspired. Basically Elle in a nutshell so her fans are exactly like her. Her needing validation from her audience makes her forget not everyone falls for BS and fakery so easily.

It's so sad that she posted last night that she put down the kids to bed at 7pm and her Saturday night was spent alone doing yoga and a voice over. Her loneliness must be driving her to fill the void with posting all this self-ology crap.

Hey guys! We're famous! She mentioned us in the vlog around the 16:30 timestamp. Hi Elle Nice to know you still read here. I feel I need to correct you on some things you got wrong...

- We don't criticize you for thrift shopping, we criticize you for saying cheap stuff is garbage and that underpriveledged people should save their pennies in order to get better quality stuff.

- We don't criticize you for buying expensive things (like LV purses), we criticize you for claiming you are vegan then buy a purse made from an animal under the lie that, well it's vintage so it's already long dead anyway.

- We don't criticize you for getting botox, we criticize you for doing under the guise that you get it for migraines when half of your face doesn't move.

- And finally, we don't criticize you for not having your (ex)husband in the vlogs, we criticize you for saying you're giving your entire family privacy then a week later the kids are back in every video but no Dan. There's obviously trouble in Paradise. If you just flat out said, "Hey guys. So Dan and I were having issues and we thought it best for him to move out for a bit. The kids are fine and they still see him. We're working through it and we'd like some privacy", I think most of us would back off. Its BECAUSE you need to be so secretive and closed off with such vanity/mental health covering sort of vlogs that we pick apart every little iota of background clues as to what's going on.

YOU chose to be in the public eye. YOU chose to quit teaching and become a family vlogger. YOU used the YouTube platform to make money while staying home with your kids when most others would value their family's privacy enough to not put everything on the internet, ask for people to "like and subscribe!" then get pissed off when those same people start commenting on your life! YOU chose this! So get off your butt, go and see a PROPER therapist that isn't going to kiss your ass both on and off of social media and get on with your life! Your childhood trauma only affects you if you let it. You can't blame everything about your personality on something that happened when you were 10 years old. Grow the fuck up and act like an almost 36 year-old.

So I decided to try to watch parts of this long, drawn out video. Basically she is a compulsive shopper— surprise! BUT this is not her fault (of course) it is because of her childhood and other unhappiness in her private life ... hmmm wonder what that could be?
She is a victim; and though the criticisms she receives are valid she still seems to feel bullied.
Maybe if she gets proper therapy she can take more ownership over her choices and ultimately her life.

She is a mother of 3 young children and I am dumbfounded by how she manages to have so much time for shopping and diy projects.

I really wish she would fess up to what’s happening with Dan. It’s just so glaringly obvious, especially since compulsively redecorating every little thing in her house is a classic fresh divorcée move.

Agree - she appears to make these decisions on her own, and completely off the cuff. I don’t know about you guys, but when I get the itch to repaint or redecorate an area of my house...I run it by my husband first. We both live here.

Meanwhile, Elle is over here just marking her territory on a house that she has essentially taken from Dan. I know, I know, marital home and all that, but when you put it together with the rest of what we know about her (particularly from the now-deleted relationship confessions videos), it seems like this has been her plan all along.

Also, I will never get over how she seems to have so much time on her hands for all these painting projects. My kids are the same age as hers and I can’t even conceive the idea of starting a project without my thoughts being interrupted, let alone actually carrying it out!

Her shopping addiction vlog was full of BS.

Blaming her trauma for her bad spending habits? Talk about blaming your mother for everything Elle!! Is she the reason your marriage failed too??

And the fact that Elle had to make a point of saying “I have the money for these things” and that she doesn’t put herself in debt was the icing on the cake - just another excuse she gives herself on justifying her spending. This “addiction” as she calls it is not an addiction !! It’s just her self entitlement issues she’s always dealt with.

Elle has always constantly looked for excuses for any and all issues she has. How many experts and certified professionals has she gone to in the last 5 years over all her issues? She just can’t admit that anything is HER FAULT. She is the reason, not something that happened 20 years ago.

She keeps preaching that she’s always wanting to better herself but really that’s just an excuse for her to spend $500 on a meditation membership, a couple thousand on a naturopath, thousands of dollars on essential oils, etc, etc the list goes on and on over the years. Imagine how much money she’s spent on professionals for her Youtube channel - the videographers, the sessions at Youtube head quarters, the “business trips” etc She’s the type of chick who would spend $5000 to see that Rachel Hollis chick because Elle thinks she’s entitled to spend her family’s money to better herself and herself only.

Her new found hobby of painting / clay making is just another extension of her spending habits hiding under the guise of “improving one self” and “self care” bull shit that she’s been feeding herself over the years. If the pandemic didn’t hit she would have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars already on classes, materials etc

If this crazy chick really wanted to curve her spending habits she could be doing so many things:

- a 30 to 90 day no spending challenge (not including food and essentials)
- stop renovating shit for no reason and spending money during the same vlog where you call yourself a shopping addict
- get one of those apps where every time you spend money it takes out the same amount into a savings
- come out with a plan, a real plan to curve her spending like I don’t know, A BUDGET!

You know, she’s made comments in the past about that Dave Ramsey guy, how she doesn’t like his methods. That’s spoken just like a real self entitled shopaholic who refuses to really admit they have a problem because they have money to spend so they should.

I bet she’s super jealous of Cullen & Katie for actually admitting to their various addictions and working on it together.

You folks really nailed it here!

I think the fact that Elle’s marriage is in the dump right now is the absolute clearest sign of how narcissistic and self involved she is, as well as fully displays her lack of actual self-awareness and willingness to change. If she was truly in a growth mindset, she would be willing to work on her marriage.

I would bet my life that the troubles in her marriage are her issues and hers alone. She never loved Dan and had full intentions of this marriage ending, before it even began. She pretty well admitted that in her previous videos! Dan seems like a pretty well rounded and emotionally stable person who likely wouldn’t cheat. I honestly think that Elle and her piss poor attitude and absolute unwillingness to take an honest look at herself are the sole reasons that her life is in flames.

If only she could honestly admit that to herself; she would finally be able to stop with these annoying preachy videos that are actually created for her
