I just watched their most recent video. The whole time, I just kept thinking that they don’t deserve this precious baby. That little girl is so sick and all they do is stick a camera in her face.

These two have become more sneaky. They always used to be weeks behind on their vlogs, but it was easy to tell bc they were posting in realtime on IG. But since Cassidy was born has anyone else noticed that they are careful not to "date" their IG posts - they are very generic and don't directly relate to their vlogs anymore. It makes it more difficult to tell that they are still running 2-3 weeks behind with videos.

In the most recent one Phil said Cassidy's surgery is in less than 4 weeks. So must be coming up very soon. Like, next week. I guess they want to shock everyone with a "Shock emergency heart surgery!" video. And a whole bunch of Alex fake crying as she throws items in a hospital bag as if she's had no time to plan.

Yes agree completely. They've definitely severed the link between instagram and youtube.

I suspect they would say it's so they're not beholden to a schedule anymore, have time away from vlogging etc.
But think it's also probably because theres nothing else to vlog and homeschooling with a medically fragile infant is much harder and time consuming than they expected.

Their content used to be infertility and their day today activities with toddlers. Cant do any of that now, they arent experts on homeschooling, and they have 1 summers experience in growing stuff in a small vegetable patch.

I think they're banking on the CHD content around Cassidys surgery being a 'hit' with viewers, and they will say they have shared it all in the name of raising awareness. The fact they will profit from it is 100% disgusting.

I agree. It’s all for show. We all know what goes on in that house is a lot different in real life, than what they manufacture for posts. That’s for damn sure.

I agree. It’s all for show. We all know what goes on in that house is a lot different in real life, than what they manufacture for posts. That’s for damn sure.

You all make a good point. I amend my original point to be that they arent vlogging more often because then the world would see how much time they are actually spending schooling their children. Hiding it shields them from criticism.

I always thought Alex was so smug when she gave parenting tips in vlogs, it's just a matter of time before she gives homeschooling tips. Thankfully the eldest 2 seem smart so hopefully they arent held back in life by shoddy teaching.

They just have to put something up to keep up with the algorithm and they can't use the current footage because they are just gathering it at the moment and want to make a big reveal or something.

Good point! I don't use instagram very much so i'm not familiar with stories. Are you able to post something old in stories?
Would she be that smart and diligent? IMO she would be probably too lazy to go that far with her efforts.

Absolutely. IG stories are things people filmed previously. You can do Instagram Live for realtime, but I don't think they have ever done that?

As much as I dislike Alex, being the mum of a CHD bub myself and going through the horror of open heart surgery, i had a lot of empathy for Alex and was prepared for her to (justifiably?) overdramatise it, but I think she’s done the opposite. She’s underestimating the position Cassidy is in and what she faces and I don’t understand it??

So latest vlog about the girls going to the dentist. They really don't give 3 craps about this covid environment. P asks C&K which mask they want to wear. They each pick one. But ALL of the mask are adult sized masks. They are way to big for the kids and they keep falling off the kids' faces. For god's sake she can go to Target and get a 2 pack of child size masks for $4. The girls seem to be dammed to the property but they can forgo one Whole Foods item and pick it up at Target to save enough money to get $4 for those masks that properly fit.

Then I also notice P chooses a teal colored mask. When he comes home with the girls and A takes Cass to the Dr she's wearing the same mask P was just wearing... I know I may reuse my mask a few times prior to washing it, but do NOT share mask that are not clean.

I feel like they are keeping up to date or at least close to it on Instagram. I have a feeling that Alex will not be able to resist posting (at least in stories) when Cassidy has her surgery, but I honestly think she might be the type of person who does “daily update posts” on insta. I do think that surgery is coming up, most likely next week though due to them being behind on videos.

She has to keep that line going though. The newest cash cow ie Cassidy's CHD will dry up within a few months of her surgery, and they'll have no content left to post about. She'll be back to the "poor me, I need IVF" story by early next year. Combo of her still seeking her dream pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding experience (since Cassidy ruined that) and the fact that all these influencers literally poop out babies one after another to make more money.
