Random post... Has anyone read her old blog before? I was watching her old videos on her channel, and she had the link posted in the description bar. I went to it and read all the way back from when she was pregnant the first time. I was crying while reading it, lol. I of course have always thought it was terrible they had their losses, but I guess I never fully understood until I read a play by play. One thing I noticed though is even back then she literally relied on her parents for everything.

Too bad she doesn't still seem as sincere and genuine as she did before. Lol

The thing is, I think she was actually sincere. Bryan has ruined her. Don't get me wrong, she not faultless, and has made her fair share of moronic decisions, but I truly believe she would be 200x more relatable if Bryan didn't behave like a middleschooler.


Like instead of being a mature supportive husband, he encourages aggressive handeling of the comments, screw the h8ters! A constant berating of their own child, and the shouting and gimics on the vlog channel.

Think back to the "nice try" video. If was his editing that made that video rub the wrong way.

I agree. Even when I was going through the blog I noticed that 9/10 she went to her mom for support, and didn't really lean on Bryan often. Point being it seems he didn't start making impressions on her until the vlogs started.

Her bad hair and current attitude aside - I think she probably was likable back then.

Yup. I actually find Missy's channel pretty good. When she does her own thing that is. Of course it was WAY BETTER before they started to vlog and Bryan started to take over. What's sad is I can't even watch Missy's videos because all I can think about is how much I HATE Bryan. He really did ruin it for her. She could've had a lot of potential if Bryan just shut the fuck up and stayed out. Her channel WAS nice quality.

What's sad is I can't even watch Missy's videos because all I can think about is how much I HATE Bryan. He really did ruin it for her. She could of stuck to a couple of videos a week pertaining to parenting, baby items, updates on herself X amount of time post-postpartum, etc. The thing I never see any of these women talk about is themselves postpartum, except for the first 6 weeks. My OBGYN says it takes 18-24months to fully recover from pregnancy. Just my two cents, lol.

I also think it's part of why the loss theme of her channel has fallen to the wayside. (I know there have been some complaints that she doesn't even address the roots of the channel anymore). I've never gotten the sense that the miscarriage/stillbirth were a grieving process for Bryan. I'm not saying he has to, or that he didn't grieve correctly. But I don't think it affected him at the same emotional depth as Missy.

For example, Missy's 'Portrait of a Mother' video clearly conveys that women become mothers as soon as they want children, even if they've been infertile, even if they can't carry to term. I've never picked up that Bryan felt he was a father before Oliver was born. (I mean, I don't really believe the reality of being responsible for a human being has quite sunk in for him still ) And you have to be emotionally mature in order to feel that kind of depth from loss. I don't doubt that Bryan found the loss of the the 2 pregnancies sad or disappointing, but he still behaves rather like a teenager as far as grief is concerned. I mean, let's not forget, he filmed a funeral....

I guess I'm trying to say, because the losses were not that significant to Bryan they aren't something he thinks about in directing her channel. Food for thought :/

He did say that he stopped writing in that blog because he didnt want to be basically stuck in grief and writing on the blog made everything resurface. There is no "right" way to grieve. That's just my take on it. As much as I don't really like Bryan, the losses aren't something that should really be brought up all the time. And we can't accurately say they aren't because of what we see in a 11 minute vlog.

That was still standing mag. Not Missy's blog which was her own before youtube. It's different. Bryan was required to write once a month for that. As for Missy's channel that's MISSYS channel they are in control of what they post when. And that's BRYANS way of coping. He doesn't want to talk about it anymore fine. But I don't think Missy feels that way. If you read her PERSONAL blog. You can tell she wanted to be open VERY open about everything. She hid nothing. I think that changed when Bryan started to control her content. (Editing and directing) HE didn't want to talk about so she stopped because he would have to edit it. I just don't think that this is what Missy really wanted. I think she would have continued to talk about her losses and loss related things if Bryan hadn't of gotten so involved. Missy obviously feels very passionate about her experience if you look close enough it's just Bryan shoving it aside unless it pertains to views or their channel. Bryan knows that general mommy videos are more popular. The loss community is a very specific group of people. He wants to appeal to as many people as possible because that = more subs = more views = $$$$

I think bryan is very controlling when it comes to their channels. He has taken over Missy's channel and not in a good way, I much preferred her early raw videos that weren't super edited. And you can see it in the vlogs when Bryan interrupts missy, talks over missy, takes over the conversation from missy. He wants it to be the Bryan show all the time. And he controls what's in the vlogs so it's easy for him to take over and make it more about himself.

Jeez her blog is heartbreaking... I knew she lost her child and everything but wow that was just sad to read... Im happy they have Oliver now but I kinda feel like they dont truly appreciate him a lot of times like "hes takes to long of naps" okay be happy you have a child to take naps and that hes sleeping and healthy still just stop sweating the small stuff just because you want to take your daily trip for burritos and Target that can wait...

No missy was sitting I the back on her phone while ollie was bouncing and looking out the window. People walked by and couldn't see missy in the back seat because it was dark out and thought ollie was locked in the car alone

IIRC (because I don't want to give them more money with another view) Bryan ran into Walmart and Missy had Ollie out of his carseat bouncing on her in the car. Ollie was looking out the window and people were looking in like he was in there by himself because she was reclined and wearing dark clothes.

So basically, just played up. Of course.

Ollie is seriously sooo cute but I think hes starting to look alot like bryan. I couldn't find a good pic of bryan to compare.
