I agree with Bryan NOT being an alcoholic. There's nothing wrong with drinking beer or whiskey every now and then, and he really doesn't act like he's drunk. If you look at his eyes, too, those are NOT the eyes of a drunk man. All he is is a weirdo goofball.

As a fellow goofball, it's easy to mistake us for drunk hahaha. Shay Butler, however, was an over the top, disheveled, irritable mess. It was obvious he was a drunk. Bryan is very clear, well-taken care of, and fairly normal. Could he just be good at being drunk? Sure. But I doubt it. He doesn't strike me as the type, especially because I don't think alcoholism runs in his family. His step-dad was the only alcoholic, right?

How exactly is that can opener old fashioned? Is it because it isn't electric? Those are "old fashioned" too since they've been around since the 50s or 60s. Or is it because it's not a $100 can opener from Williams Sonoma?

Woah that can of soup is MASSIVE!

I think Bryan stays home during swim class for the cleaning lady. I'm sure Missy wants the boys out of the house and out of the way, so swim class is a good time to have her come. He probably also has meetings or does some of his work at that time.

That's what I don't get, they don't give back, I know they can do whatever they want wth their money but they act like the worked a 9-5 job. Ummm no you sold yourselves online.. any way these people don't do anything for their community that would make me like them. They spend spend spend on themselves.

Did anyone see Missy's swim shorts? Did she outgrow the other ones ? Lol

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO that chicken was perfect fine!!!!! Then she added not 1 can but TWO FREAKING cans of pure sodium!!!! Why!!!!?!?! Man even half a can would've been too much.. but why?!?

The only thing I liked today was that they were all at the dinner table! Well everyone but FINN.

Beige meal yet again. Barf..

Plus, the Hollisters probably wouldn't allow Bryan near alcohol at all. Especially if they still hold some of their fundie beliefs.

Regarding the swimming class thing - I don't think people are too ridiculous for criticizing Bryan for never being at his kids' lessons, even once in a while! Watching your child learn to swim is one of those things that *most* people cherish! My husband works during the week, but you can bet the first public holiday that happened to fall on swimming lesson day, he was right there in the water with our son!

1. Bryan's job is FLEXIBLE. Even if he used swimming class time to work most days, he could make an exception once in a while! Then maybe get his lunch to go instead *gasp*. The fact that he always shows up for lunch definitely shows where his priorities are, and it's obviously not with _ever_ being at swimming.

2. If he's staying behind for the various staff, such as the cleaning lady, why not have Mimi or Papa do that once in a while, so Bryan could also get to see the progress his children are making in the water?!

Anyway, if he wanted to be there at all, like most parents would love to be but often physically cannot, due to having a 40+hr work week job, then he could make it work once in a blue moon. He doesn't even comment at all on wanting to be there.

Nope, I still disagree. Mimi and Papa go because Missy wants them there. Them staying behind for the cleaning lady isn't an option in that case. Maybe Missy wants them thee more than Bryan?

I agree most fathers would want to go, but if Missy really wanted him there she could make it work too. The Hollisters come first, and Bryan is an EXTRA in that family. Thee doesn't need to be 3 or 4 adults at every swim class.

I'm not saying Bryan is a well and present dad, I'm just saying it has nothing to do with going to swim class or not, and that Missy is arguable no more of a present and participatory parent than he is.

He sees the video footage.. I'm not defending him, I do think it's strange.. but whatever works for them..
Also, they were divorced.. there's bad blood shed during any break up.. I'm sure them getting back together was not what her parents wanted.. He's a loser, bro!

Oh, well I definitely agree with you, Missy probably wants her parents there more and either requests that Bryan stay at home for the staff or doesn't care if he comes along. It's obviously not an issue for her either, lol. But Missy goes to every lesson and gets to see her children swim, so why should she care if Bryan doesn't get to experience that? I just don't think anyone is off base for side-eyeing the fact that Bryan doesn't seem to realize or care that he is consistently missing out on an experience that most fathers would love to have. Especially when it wouldn't be *that* hard to attend every once in a while if he wanted to, regardless of Missy's preference for her parents. He could also easily get Jeff to stay home for the housekeepers.

I don't watch Cullen and Katie often - because I don't dislike them LOL - so I have no idea what's going on in this picture... but I thought it was funny that Bryan commented on their energy! Does Bryan not realize that C&K are OLDER than B&M and that their kids are YOUNGER? I mean, it's not a competition - raising kids of any age is hard - but if anything, I'd think C&K would be more worn out with their lives since they are active and don't just sloth around! By the same token, that's exactly WHY they have energy - because they DO THINGS! You'd never see Bryan on a ladder for anything, unless it was to get a bag of chips from the top of the pantry!

On a side note, look at Cullen's calves! Yum! I might need to watch their vlogs a bit more now!

I think no ones wrong for either opinion they have on the situation. I would agree with the fact that most parents dream about both being able to stay home and afford that financially. You do everything in the best interest for the kids. They have money, they have YouTube and whatever side projects they are working on. They fail to ever mention why Bryan can show up for a lunch with the fam than watching his sons swim? Missy never says anything like " I wish Bryan was here he has a few meetings at home" or " Bryan has to stay back and let the housekeeper in the gate" like it's never mentioned.. they want to have a real vlog but never mention any real evidence behind their reasoning. When you get married your husband becomes your priority and your parents sit back and watch the family they created. It is not their parental duty to sit and watch the boys all day long. Missy grabs her parents at no expense of Bryan doing anything and there's probably some tension. I get it's a one day a week class lasting no longer than 45 mins- an hour. But Bryan hasn't been there ONCE. & it would be nice for them to own up to it. Bottom line is life is too short to not enjoy the little moments in your children's lives and I think Bryan is making excuses because he never went to swim when they were at the other house either. They are beyond blessed with more help, money, and time than a lot of other families and they should take the time to appreciate it.

I hate to say it, but that is about the only muscular part of Cullen. And what is hilarious in Bryan praising their energy is that they have been "prepping" their house for selling for a good 4 months and are only now really jumping in because they put in an offer and need to get their house on the market.
But your initial point is pretty spot on-- Bryan and Missy are always exhausted because they are slothful, and being lazy _makes_ you tired.

Oh yeah, I know Cullen has a Dad Bod LOL! I don't mind that too much, especially if the calves make up for it! But now I feel like a terrible person because I give views to vloggers I dislike (with Adblock on at least) but I don't give views to C&K! We met them at Playlist, too. They were both very sweet to my daughter, and they both actually spoke to me and my son LOL! I watched a few vlogs after that, and I watch very occasionally now.

We also met Britt and Austin (ew! It's gross to think that was when he was sending nudes and videos from that hotel that very weekend!), the Daily Davidsons, Gabe Babe TV (is that what it's called?), and a few other vloggers. I tried to watch them all, but they were beyond boring to me. We also met E+J and I used to watch them up until a week or so after Calvin was born. I got sick of their "everything is awesome" fake attitude. I watched a few vlogs a couple of weeks ago during and after butt-gate, and was so disgusted.

I watched a few of Domo Wilson's vlogs because I was interested in her IUI story. I might start watching her and her girlfriend again... but my (long winded) point is, are there any good family vloggers worth watching that aren't boring and won't make me cringe? My daughter doesn't watch family vloggers at all now because she's all about make up tutorials, so she can't recommend anyone to me! I'd like to support regular people instead of just "hate-watching" the Lumps! LOL!

So... I'm guessing Bryan's gallbladder issues and diet changes lasted all of two days??
Maybe its just me, but if a doctor tells me I need to a) start eating healthier or b) have my gallbladder removed, I wouldn't just sweep it under the rug.
This is going to catch up to Bryan. And I don't feel slightly bad for him.

Nothing remotely green for lunch or dinner. Wait, maybe there was lettuce on his sandwich??
Dinner was a beige carb fest

I actually like Samika. And Cullen and Katie aren't as bad as their friends, definitely. My daughter just started watching Knorrp and South-- they live in an RV, have 4 kids of their own and 5 adopted Chinese kids. The mom is very real. Her kids actually get on her nerves! We used to like Smelly Belly, but since they started homeschooling, they are also hard to take. Everything is exciting and FUN ALL THE TIME!

I watched C&K and Ellie and Jared for a while but then they started to bore me. The only family vloggers I actually enjoy watching now is AprilJustinTV, I know a lot of people dislike them but I think April is so sweet and a really good mom. Justin can be a little too nice sometimes, I question that but they don't bore me. I have to watch DB to keep up with this site, they can be entertaining sometimes just cause they're so ridiculous.
