DailyDesperateDumps (Daily Bumps) - Part 106

I’m not seeing any difference in the “new” vlogs either. Standard DailyBumps formula.

2-3 minutes of the “old DailyBumps” vlogging style. And of course, it’s just Missy and the boys. 10-12 minutes of staged, over produced, scripted kid content. And then finishing up with Bryan making his “Of course I’m an involved Dad” 2 minute appearance. Byeeeee Boop.

It’s exactly the same as it has been for the last two years. The only difference is for the last 6 months they didn’t even bother with a brief “vlog” segment, and just went with 100% over produced junk.

Unless they start including content that isn’t straight up fluff or for kids, I’m gonna have to tap out again. Even if it’s shallow or boring, I’d rather watch Missy get her Botox and extensions done than this scripted kid stuff.

Seriously. I’d take Bryan vlogging business meetings and conference calls with sponsors before this “content” any day.

Almost every kid watching wants to be a yt'er. Show them what its really about. Why you're so busy.

playsinrain - yes. he had tried to diet before. people thought it was shitty missy would always 'attempt' to side track him while he was dieting. this was back in the 2nd house? they have been in 4 houses I remember in the fist and 2nd house he was dieting. he just couldnt do it on his own. i believe he got the hollywood pr class advice or someone that knows. not many people online talk about it because they dont know about it. there are tell tale signs because they tell you what to eat and drink...including what alcohols so that you can drink away and not gain. the reality is i believe he took meds for the weight loss. i thought maybe the balloon but its hard to tell. its non evasive.

never said anything wrong with doing it but it not being healthy and playing a game of white lies and slowly beating around the bush gets old. he wants to be a pop star thats why he got his pit sweat fixed. not even alot of entertainers do that. for real. how healthy can it be to block sweating. we sweat for a reason its functionality not about looks.

That's exactly when i was talking about, it was before Ollie was born and he lost tons of weight, he wasn't unsuccessful at dieting then, he was rather successful actually. When he stopped dieting, he gained it back, which is exactly what happens to everyone that stops a diet. You specifically said he "got no results" when in fact he lost a great deal of weight, he just gained it back. He knows how to diet.

If they know what days they are having Dallas come film, then it’s possible she’s having someone coming to do it for her. I suspect a lot of what they are vlogging is still just as fake and scripted as before.

That’s so relatable it makes me suspicious. Did she post it as a photo op because she was really having it done later and wanted the credit? Where was she going? Where was Bryan? Are they working harder these days?

Clearly this moment was fairly out of the ordinary and “noteworthy to her” and that’s why she posted it. I get she was trying to be more relatable, but most mothers aren’t busy getting that stuff done and then have to pause for a sec to post on IG.

Maybe it was for Mimi’s benefit as much as ours? Maybe she’s indicated they need to step it up more?

I watched the wedding dress vlog last night and 2 things i had to comment on..

Missy saying that the boys "were finally old enough to play outside alone.." BITCH WHAT??? Those boys have been playing outside alone since Finn could WALK... don't act like we haven't been around to see this.
and..
Missy going and picking out dresses for Cassie to try on... So missy went before hand, and hand picked dresses for Cassie, and says that she hope she likes them. Why is missy making cassie's wedding all about her??????????? Take a step back! Plus all those dresses were terrible and Cassie was not pleased with any of them. One of them looked almost exactly like Missy's dress! Just let Cassie have her freaking DAY!!

Missy reads here. She saw the comments on here about her makeup and had to "prove" she was doing it herself. I still don't buy it though, bc that eyeliner shes putting on looks as terrible as it used too. I think she's got someone doing it. It's not like that's a new concept for Missy. She used to have someone come over everyday to do her hair and make up. Remember her epic fail "Get ready with me" video?? LMAO!!

ETA: I don’t care how Missy does her makeup, or if she hires someone to do it on filming days. I do have a problem with the way they are trying to act like these are just normal “old school” vlogs, when the very act of having a camera person come (and maybe a makeup person) means things are definitely not real, and possibly more set up and designed than ever. Instead of acting like they’ve found treasure, are they now acting like they’ve become relatable again?

If they were going to hire a cameraman i wish they would have hired one that knew what they were doing. The camera is so shaky and jerky, it makes me almost nauseous. They never got a full body shot of Cassie in any of those dresses, and when they have to walk backwards to film people i half expect them to fall bc they are so unsteady. The quality of the vlogs was so much better when it was just Missy or Bryan holding the camera and vlogging.

I’ve never really thought Ollie was a cute looking kid, but when he’s not scripted he’s 100 times cuter. I don’t know, I think it’s just nice seeing him do something he genuinely has an interest in. I really hope they put him on a swim team as well. I think it’d be good for him.

That's absolutely true. When he's with Cassie or Papa and not scripted, he seems like a normal little boy. He can even speak better.

It's funny you brought this up. I watched a video of Cassie's the other day and both Ollie and Finn were in it. I saw a big difference in both of the kids. They were both very cute when they were just being themselves.

Gross. Missy posted a picture of herself and Bryan in their Aladdin and Jasmine getupd in bed. And she made this comment about how it was all his idea to "dress up like Aladdin and Jasmine and take sexy photos" and she didn't understand it. I call bullshit. She loved every minute of that photo shoot. Even if it was Bryan's idea originally, she understood it and was totally on board.
This is, after all, the woman who did a freaking princess photo shoot with her horse.
