The suburban was given to them from TLC I thought.

They could have chosen to sell it for a more economical vehicle. I never complain about the price of gas b/c I literally chose my car... knowing what I was getting into. Plus, either of them could literally elect to get real jobs to supplement their lifestyle, offsetting such costs.
I’m sure both cars were free but why when Evie(?) shredded the “car payment” check, did he say that when they don’t have a car payment?
One big lie they are

How it works is Ashley leases the car in her name and senegence pays the lease (I believe to a max amount). But only if she makes a certain rank so if one month she doesn’t make that rank she has to cover that month of payments herself. And if she quits she’s on the hook for paying her payments as she’s the one who leased it in her name so if she doesn’t it hurts her credit they don’t care.

The truck they did choose and is also a gas guzzler I’m sure. The only requirement is the car has to be factory blue and senegence makes the lease payment for the car, up to a certain amount. Ashley could have chosen a more fuel efficient car if she wanted but claimed they *needed* a truck for all their deliveries for their scam businesses (insert eye roll). The fact that they are trying to gain sympathy by posting how much they pay for gas shows once again how un-relatable and entitled they are.

As I was doing peasant work this evening (cooking and cleaning for my family) I had the same thought. Only people living in a bubble, who are entitled think others want to see them complain about needed items like gas.
Does she realize people in our country, heck her own city, will go to bed hungry tonight? Or somewhere out there a mom is grateful all she has to pay for IS a gas because a car is what she & her child live in?

Or actually stay at home to eat, cut back on the fizzy stuff, or at least buy it and have it at home ready instead of special drives to get it. ... imagine the money that would save, that would also inadvertently have them at home more often with the girls too. I hate going shopping or for quick trips to the shop, aside from the fuel cost, I always impulsively buy extra stuff that I don’t need and depending on the time and if my daughter is there we may grab lunch. That easily adds at least $50 to what I originally was going to spend. Imagine doing that more than once a week? I make a conscious effort to not go to the shops unless I absolutely have to.

Why are people so obsessed with these soda places? Can’t they just buy the damn ingredients and make these drinks at home for way cheaper!? I can’t imagine how much he spends on soda each week. I would love to see one of those pictures of the sugar cubes that depict just how much sugar from soda alone he consumes.

That's exactly what I was thinking too. Couldn't they get a soda stream and make the drinks at home? And one thing the Leroy mom gets that just sounds disgusting is diet Coke and coconut milk. Ugh. Any kind of milk mixed with diet Coke just sounds disgusting to me. They call it a "dirty diet Coke" or a "dirty Dr Pepper". Here's the recipe if anyone wants to get grossed out. http://mylitter.com/dirty-dr-pepper-or- ... ke-recipe/

Target pick up for the win!
When I do it this way, no aisles tempt me. I shop according to my list and then drive to get it and come right back home or tend to other errands.
We keep everything we want & like in our home for this reason. Sweets, sodas, snacks... it’s here. Then we waste no money out. It’s easier for us. And we eat out... but we don’t make it habit. First, I try to cook well for my family. Secondly, it saves money.

There was an old show called Laverne & Shirley in the 70’s or early 80’s. One of the characters did this. I have been told it tastes similar to an ice cream float but melted. I just can’t get past straight milk with the soda. Not for me I guess.
I'm sorry I've been absent. As you sissies know, which until now I've not shared in any other thread, my mother had been battling a very rare and aggressive cancer the last 5 years and was not well over the last couple of months before she passed away two weeks ago. So I've just needed some time off of the boards first to care for her, and now to care for myself and my family as we try to navigate life without her. It's been a very hard process for me.
Anyhow, I have gotten some wonderful feedback on this thread. I didn't expect anything else to be frank... But I'd personally like to thank everyone who helped keep the thread going while I was gone. Please feel free to message me and update me with anything you think I should know. I havent even watched a video since mid January when my mom started failing.
Thank you so much also to everyone who has reached out the last few months and checked on me. It's not easy losing a parent. I don't wish this sadness on my worst enemy. Looking forward to getting back online and distracting myself.

There is a multitude of things they could cut back on to save money. For one, parent THEIR own children. They do not need a nanny. I don’t believe for a minute they worry about budgeting. Asswhit was only trying to garner some sympathy in her “weakened” state of health.

I agree 100% they do not need a nanny. I really believe they think they are in the upper crust elite & must have the ‘things’ to match. I also think they are improving the DUHrls lives with a nanny rather than a quality preschool or other program, where they get to interact with OTHER kids, than just their insular group. I also do not think the house fits them. I can’t put my finger on it... but I’ve just never thought it’s a great match for them. Maybe too big? I’m just not sure.

What I don’t get is, what the need to go out EVERY day to eat? I love to go out to eat..but not everyday..
Besides, to me going out should be a treat...like make Friday going out. Make it fun for the girls...suprise them...to them it’s a treat
Right? Like some nights I just want a home made meal - like my seasonings and whatever. Or something simple. I find mothers in particular, that choose to eat out often and don’t cook are not particularly in touch with their kids. I have no name for this phenomenon but I’ve seen it in my own life with friends, associates, family, etc. Maybe b/c you don’t actually sit down and eat with your kids, with just the quietness of your home. Your kids have to compete with restaurant noise.

If I ate out as much as they do I would weigh 500 lbs. I know myself too well and I make unhealthy choices (as they do) when I eat out. They are setting those girls up for a lifetime of health issues by the amount of fat, salt and sugar they consume. Very sad.

Laverne & Shirley!! Loved that show. It was Laverne who drank milk and Pepsi.
Drat. I was too late to the "Guess whose eye this is" game on Faddy's IG. And I think I would have won. Not really, could have been Bentley's eye as far as I'm concerned.
Oh you may be right, TLC probably did buy the suburban for them.
I think I was thinking of the Busby's, their church got them their first van.
Oh goodness, I can't get all this straight, lol!!
