I just spent an hour watching the Andrea vlogs.
Wept like a baby.
I wish I had some wise words to impart. Its all very sad; her loss, and the loss of other mothers here on this list.
I do have some questions: Did Andrea have an underlying disorder that was misdiagnosed? Did they ever find where the cancer originated from? How far along was her pregnancy? Why was the youngest girl bonded to the third oldest son?
Its lovely to see the vlogging community come together and support the family. I'm glad Tom shared it on the internet as the family does need the support of all watching as they deal with this loss. Had he not done so he would be fairly alone with trying to support his children with their loss.

I will try to answer some of your questions briefly.
Apparently, she has been feeling unwell for several weeks now, but has been putting it down to long-standing digestive problems and a slipped disc in her back - as well possibly as her 10 th pregnancy. She is very against medical intervention and had been self-medicating and seeing a chiropractor. When the pain got very bad, she went to a doctor and was eventually admitted for what they thought was an inflamed gallbladder. They removed it, but at the same time saw changes in her liver. They transferred her to Denver, Colorado to see a liver specialist. This was just a week before her death. The whole situation was complicated by her pregnancy. Tom said that the gallbladder and liver had cancerous cells, but they didn’t believe either was the primary site. Sometime before she died, he mentioned the primary site was the common bile duct. This is a very rare and aggressive form of cancer, and usually isn’t detected until it’s already very advanced.
Her pregnancy, I think, was somewhere between 13 and 15 weeks. Usually from about 15 weeks, you would have to go through labour to deliver a miscarried baby. They fought to bring the baby’s remains home as she wanted it buried at their house. I’m hoping maybe now they’ll bury him with her. They named him Cyrus Grant.
Their youngest daughter, Hannah, is just 15 months old. Andrea had some strange ideas about raising children and running her home. She relied a lot on the older boys. When each child is born, they are assigned buddies among the older kids - although I’m not actually sure Asher is Hannah’s buddy. Asher is a really sweet boy and very close to the younger children. He has simply developed a very close relationship to Hannah, as has Judah, who you see holding her while stroking his mother’s head, in one of the live-streams. He takes a lot of responsibility for her care. He was like that with Claudia also, the 2nd youngest child.
Asher is one of the children, that I would worry about most in this. He is very withdrawn at times, and has become increasingly so in recent times. He appears very sensitive and I often get the sense that he is maybe aware of how unusual their lifestyle is. However, he has always been devoted to his mum and the other kids.
Personally, I feel that Andrea hasn’t been well since Hannah was born. She seemed to lose her sparkle after that, and never really got herself back on track. She took a lot of criticism at the time of her birth - and much of it was justified. However, she couldn’t deal with the negativity being a YouTuber attracted and struggled with it. Many of her ideas were controversial, but the fact that she loved her husband and family was never in question. It is very sad

Just a thought on Ashley that I have been thinking about for awhile.

I believe that if she were enrolled in school today, she would be classified as LD (Learning Disabled), although not sure of what exact diagnosis would be ( emotional, processing, etc)

I think the parents were aware that something was not right with her when she was in school and that is why she has been raised the way she has.
Perhaps she has no friends from school because she was not exposed to the normal high school activities because they couldn't let her go by herself.

She is never left alone, either with the kids or by herself. This is why her parents chaperoned her trip to NYC.
She is incapable of processing and is stuck in the 13 year old mentality.
She has no concept of cause and effect and definitely does not have the capability to make long term plans.

By handing her over to Tyler at such an early age, they were "washed" of the responsibility of being with her 24/7 and they knew that Tyler would control her every move. Tyler clearly came with his own baggage ( not serving a mission in the church for who knows what reason) and he also couldn't afford to be picky.

In their eyes, it was a win/win situation.

I believe all 4 of the girls are headed on the same path.

I feel you hit the nail right on the head with this. When we were younger they didn’t do all this testing and quite honestly the adults in our lives didn’t know what to look for. Ashley doesn’t know how to love those children or even her husband. She chose to marry Tyson so I believe in some way she loves him but she doesn’t know how to show any affection towards any of them. She’s always a arms length away and doesn’t feel that need to be with them and hugging them. In a way I feel bad for her as a mother that she is losing out on the part of being a mother.

Catching up after going back to work after the summer break. Few things that have caught my attention.....

Firstly her new bestie JP was promoting another brand of cosmetics (Shine I think it was called) and had a code for 25% off, apparently the lipstick/gloss stays on all day bit like the Seneshit but doesn’t burn when applied. Seems a lot of JP followers have been using her code to buy items.

Don’t generally watch the shit show vlogs but did watch the Sunday morning with Asswipe and the girls. How hard is it to make a quick batch of pancakes and scrambled eggs or toast instead of the sugar coated crap the girls were eating! Do we really believe that she doesn’t have help getting them ready? There is no way that they can get them ready without any help and why did she only give the heavies ponytails when Esme really wanted one?

How long before we are told by the dumb parents how smart their girls are with their new class/teacher singing their praises, would love to be a fly on the wall in the classroom to see what really goes on.

These girls still play with minkys on the stairs. They have no proper spot to play, nor do they have access to age appropriate toys. It really is sad how stunned they have been kept.

I'll back you up on this! I don't think any of us disagree that she is a bitch. That's kind of a given. But if we resort to pretty empty insults or crazy theories, then it takes away from the actual issues like pedophilia, abuse, neglect, and all around horrible parenting. The KADs can point to the times that we get off the rails a little and dismiss everything we say.

Now, don't come at me with pitchforks. I love reading here. It is all entertaining and they deserve every last bit of it. But sometimes it gets to a point where if someone new read here they'd read one post and could easily think we were just crazy and never actually get to the good points we make.

Not asking anyone to change anything because this is all so entertaining as hell. But maybe don't get all pissy with someone for pointing it out. We're all on the same team here.

Holy cow... you’re right. I never realized that - she’s never alone with them. Tyson has been before... Nanny too. But never her. This is so bizarre and I believe there is more to this that will never be revealed.
