Rachelle & Justin: Loser Spouse & The Over Budget House | Part 20
Re: Rachelle & Justin: Loser Spouse & The Over Budget House | Part 20
So I’m like 600 posts behind because you all post faster than I can keep up (I actually work and have kids - that’s a dig at Rash and none of you) so forgive me if this has been said already...
So I’m not religious so I don’t know how churches work. But...if the whole church helping them out thing is true, I would be super pissed if I was someone who donated to someone “in need” and it turned out to be them. If they truly are collecting donations from the church when they are buying such an expensive house then I have lost all respect for them...not that I had much. But when these church members could be donating to a single mom with two jobs who needs to be putting food on the table and they find out it is in fact to two lazy unemployed children who did this to themselves and made themselves house poor...they will lose all respect in their community as well.

From what I saw in the pictures before and her home tour video now...lmao.
That photographer really did something. Worked those angles to make the rooms look bigger for sure. They made their master bath look bigger too. When she showed it in her video, it looked so mediocre and much smaller.
I mean they staged that house so well especially with the furnishing, like it would definitely add up to 640k WITH the furnishing, add a bathtub, add the sod to the backyard, but even then it’s a shit ton of money. In her video the remodeling looked poorly done. The garage isn’t even done! I mean did they negotiate to lower the price for the fact that there’s no bathtubs they have to spend money to work on that, the garage is shit, they have to spend money to work on that too, they have a Hut in the back to knock down so gotta spend money to do that too. The yard will cost a pretty penny to build up, not to mention the upkeep, lawn care, and maintenance. Justina didn’t do jack shit for the back yard at their rental, YET HE PLANS TO WORK ON THIS EVEN BIGGER YARD?!
I live in CA, the cost of living is stupid, ever wonder why the backyard is bare? No yard to water, no money lost there, but they want to fix it up and “eventually” put in a pool?
I guess it’s good they have fruit trees there, they can survive on lemons, limes, pomegranates, and figs...if she learned to eat them and love them.
Racking my brain tho, wonder how much their mortgage payment will be including internet, utilities, car insurance, cellphones, gas (that’s expensive here too), food (it’s also expensive), entertainment, their health insurance?, add in a new baby, gotta pay diapers, food, clothes, health insurance for kids too? If you have health insurance does it cover hospital and delivery in full? I’m military and their insurance is amazing, it’s a blessing. What about doctor visits for the kids? Emergency funds in case of a disaster? What about emergency funds to fix major house issues like old plumbing gone bad (cost anywhere between 7K-12K) A leaky roof. What if youtube breaks? What then? Maybe I’d be too paranoid to get myself into a house I can barely afford knowing well that the future can change at any moment. How are they so comfortable and secure? That’s what makes it so fishy to me and makes me think that they’re not really the buyers in this, somethings gotta give.
I’d be deathly afraid of going bankrupt and have poor credit for a very long time. Props to Rachelle for thinking it through and getting a 640k house NOW I guess, but I just can’t see that the house is worth that much and I definitely think she’s not entirely happy with it.
I don’t get it.

Does the house have solar? If it doesn’t, then that’s also going to be insanely expensive in the summer to keep the house cool, which is needed especially if this transfer leads to a live birth, because heat can increase the risk of SIDS. It’s so freaking hot here in the summertime and I have a child with heart defects so I need to run the AC. We live in a rental (bigger than Trash’s house) with no solar and the cost to run the AC is more than some people’s mortgage.ErinLace_20 wrote:From what I saw in the pictures before and her home tour video now...lmao.

Also, she registered as an LLC, and I’m sure any money they got loaned for the house is in their business name, so if they were to lose the house to foreclosure, their personal finances wouldn’t take the hit. They probably had to do that to get a loan to begin with because You Tube is not a stable income.

Even the pictures you posted there is a bathtub separating the toilet from the shower or the shower has a door (most glass). In her house it’s just this weird walk in where you can sit on the toilet and feel be like basically in the shower. That’s not normal here. Like to not even have a glass door you can close so the water doesn’t splash someone taking a dump is weird to me.

The whole set up for the master bath is weird. It seems very obvious to me that it didn't originally have a master bath, it had 2 big walk in closets with perhaps a little area to get ready in the middle. Someone decided to put one in as cheap as possible and this is what they got. We bought a house last Summer and we looked at lots of houses with big open style walk in showers and not a single one had a toilet IN it. If I'm going to have a big open walk in shower, I'm sorry I don't want the toilet in the middle of it. They should've either taken out the closets out completely and made an appropriate bathroom or left it alone. The way it is with a small vanity and sink and a toilet in the middle of the big walk in shower and a huge open window where everyone can see you, is just bizarre.

Yup, that’s where I landed. Something doesn’t add up and When that’s fails, follow the logic trail.
A great comparison is thetimtracker channel. They have almost 700,000 subs, most videos get 100,000 plus views (and much more on many as well), they get sponsorships not stop and they JUST upgraded to a 450,000 house after several years of this income. They also already owned their last home that they sold before making the larger purchase.
Rachelle isnot even close. They are kids who feel loaded at the moment and are overbuying. They got help from someone without a doubt and if they have actually have to pay the full note, they will quickly be screwed.
It’s a desperate play for approval and they have likely even convinced themselves that their old rental was negatively impacting their views because it was not as instagramable-though this one isn’t that much different. They grabbed onto some deal and settled for a house they don’t even really like (other than the kitchen) because they weren’t happy with the houses they could actually afford without whatever help hey are getting.

I just spent 5 minutes on Zillow and found 2 houses that, at least on paper, have more of Roachelle's requirements than the picture (almost) perfect extremely expensive (for what they got) house.
it blows my mind, really, it smells fishy and I'm not talking about the garage. why wouldn't they go fir something cheaper with the stuff they need? why the rush?

Re: Rachelle & Justin: Loser Spouse & The Over Budget House | Part 20
So since the whole church story doesn’t pan out my thought is that the being kicked out by the landlord theory is the best.
1. They were being kicked out by the landlord and had 30 days to vacate...landlord could’ve given them an extra few days after sept 1st since next tenants won’t probably move in till their damage to the rental is fixed up anyway.
2. So because this house was unoccupied and someone was looking to sell it fast, and it was the easiest house to get approved for.
3.They got approved for a big amount (already discussed and proven why they could’ve been), and so it fit their “budget” plus makes them look rich....still gives them a big “yard”.
4.So Rash put in an offer, and it being the first offer they ever put, they were excited to be accepted and knowing their moving deadline, they took the house.

For $605,000 in Conroe, they could have gotten this - https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2219 ... 1162_zpid/?
3166sqft, nice facade, nice neighborhood not far from the city, spacious, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large finished yard, that wooden flooring that Rash likes and **absolutely no renovations needed**. Unless they want to put in a pool, in which case there's plenty of room and they would still have like $35,000 left from the original budget to go toward that.
Or, alternatively, for $535,000, they could have gotten this - https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/47-C ... 2148_zpid/
3594squft, nice facade, nice neighborhood, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, extremely spacious, HUGE outdoor spaces and a big pool. The house definitely needs a paint job, the kitchen could use an update and I'd get new floors, but they'd have $105,000 from their original budget to make that happen.
Or, for $575,000, the could have gotten this - https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1188 ... 8984_zpid/
4042sqft, FIVE bedrooms, three bathrooms, SUPER spacious (especially that kitchen), that stupid flooring that Rash likes, lots of outdoor space, a huge pool and no renovations really needed. But, if they wanted to do anything to it, they'd have $65,000 from the original budget to do so.
In short: these people are dumb and I pity poor Emma and any future babies born to these childish dimwits

This is what I don’t understand with Youtubers, moreso the ones who quit their day jobs, it means they also forfeit their health insurance and retirement pension contributions (we call it Superannuation in Australia, I don’t really know how the US system works). They should be putting money away for this themselves as well as for Emma, college or really just her part of the earnings that she contributed to! And instead they go and put all their money (allegedly) on an overpriced house. Apparently Roach’s mum is an accountant (well she “studied accountancy”), she shouldn’t let this happen.ErinLace_20 wrote:Racking my brain tho, wonder how much their mortgage payment will be including internet, utilities, car insurance, cellphones, gas (that’s expensive here too), food (it’s also expensive), entertainment, their health insurance?, add in a new baby, gotta pay diapers, food, clothes, health insurance for kids too? The middle house is on 2.4 acres! Lots of mature trees and, you guessed it, GRASS! If I saw that after buying their wasteland of a yard, I would cry.

I'm in the UK too, but not allowed to share it - forum rules.
You could probably find it on zillow yourself. Just look for one floor, overly expensive trash heap and you'll find it

Did someone look up owners name and it didn’t match? Did it get deleted was t on last night so I missed something. I cant find a post that shows what someone found out that shows isn’t the church house because everything else matched.

I can tell you how Zillow works since we can’t share the link. You go to Zillow.com there is a search bar enter the city you are looking for, then there is a box you check the type you want to look for sold, for sale make sure to uncheck other boxes, then there is a filter setting set it to newest to see the most recent listed info.

Maybe I’d be too paranoid to get myself into a house I can barely afford knowing well that the future can change at any moment. How are they so comfortable and secure?

Re: Rachelle & Justin: Loser Spouse & The Over Budget House | Part 20
Looking at some of the houses you guys posted in similar price in Temecula makes me laugh my ass off!!!!! That beautiful house for $619 with a pool and a yard + grass! They love to think of themselves as such mature adults, but they are just children playing house. This purchase really shows how young they are. I guess we all have to learn somehow, some have to learn the hard way. And I guess most of us weren't aa cocky, entitled, and self-absorbed as these two are. Some people shouldn't have a social media following because they can't handle it. Goes straight to their heads. Lookin at you Rash.

Having a financial advisor is nothing. USAA bank offers them for free
We have one too because we have an investment account but are by no means rich. So anyone could have one if you bank with USAA.
