I used to have really bad allergies back in the old days... Seriously, allergies can be bad. What I did (and what I think most people do) is I went to the doctor. I ended up having to get shots, and that helped me a lot. I was still able to continue on with my day just like everyone else with allergies does. Expect this attention seeking bimbo, of course. She's just using this as an excuse to do less than she already does :? What is it that she does :? :D :D

BUT here's a scenario, lol: This is my niece, Paisley. She's Emilia's age (I actually think she's about 4 days younger than E) and is a CHUNK.

Image
HOWEVER, she eats healthy and is always on-the-go since she started crawling about 2 weeks ago and has already started showing interest in pulling up on the furniture. She looks heavy, but she only weighed 14 pounds, 9 ounces at her 8 month appointment....more than 5 pounds less than Emilia. :? She still gets a good bit of breastmilk whether she nurses or gets it in a bottle. She has not had any processed or greasy foods, bread, cow's milk, or ant of the other high-octane shit Emilia eats.

Before my sister started Pais on finger foods, she had pureed foods ONLY that were homemade using fruits, vegetables, quinoa, and chicken in different combinations. Now, she just gives her the same foods without purreeing and sometimes adds cheerios...and I'm not sure why A&J find it necessary to soften the cereal...but will give her big ass chunks of tomatoes!? I digress.

Now, because Paisley was born with those chubby cheeks, I do feel like it's just her body type.

Image

I don't mind seeing rolls on a baby as long as they have healthy lifestyles because sometimes, that's just how babies are and do grow out of it. As long as your doctor says that they are healthy then I wouldn't be concerned. I think the 'rolls' on Paisley look normal...but Emilia doesn't really have rolls. To me, she just looks really swollen...it looks painful and uncomfortable to me.
your niece is freaking adorable :)

gin! I've missed you on here :)

agreed. also, in every "rave" thread, there are a lot of "but's"... "I really like this and that BUT"
so it doesn't really make them any better.

I get really bad hayfever. At worst it can be like a headcold with really itchy eyes thrown in, but I've never taken to my bed with it! You have a shower to get all the pollen off you, take antihistamines and eyedrops and get on with things. (Can breastfeeding mothers take antihistamines?)

But that's not jealousy, that's envy, lol. That's the thing, there are a few things of which people can be envious when it comes to LeDuf. The freebies, and the freedom that they have. But there are others who are more successful in those departments and they don't get the same proportion of "hate", "jealousy", whatever. Why? Because they make the most of it and it inspires people. If I see someone successful on YT, traveling, trying new things and new ventures, living to the fullest, I'm inspired and happy for that person, they are essentially making the world a better place, and bringing more positive energy into it. LeDufs sit there marinating in their own mire and pretending "that's what works for them", whining and pouting and pimping out their baby. They are not contributing, giving back, having fun, truly living and people see and think of all the things they would do in their place. I think that's the major source of "hate", not jealousy or envy.

I couldn't agree more, Gin! Perfectly said. :tu:

Have you all noticed how demanding and whiny Emilia is getting? As ye sow, so shall ye reap ;) If they gave her enough attention she would be secure in herself, she wouldn't yell at them the second they walk away from her.

OH my goodness! That Hair!! :)She's very cute and I can tell she's going to be a gorgeous little lady! Even those she's chunky she looks strong and its great that she's crawling. E looks like she's struggling to move and can't get into a real crawling position.

I remember her whining for weeks last year around this same time about hay fever. She was taking something when she was pregnant, so I'm sure she's not all that concerned with taking something now. I wouldn't think it would be safe to take antihistamines pregnant, or breastfeeding, but I wouldn't do a lot of things she does.

That's true, lol, I don't often go on the other threads but the "rave" ones basically turn to, at best, critiquing ones.

O my, look at her hair, so full and curly! And her limbs are much, much, longer than E. I do wonder if all the sitting is stunting E's growth, but I don't have medical knowledge as to that.

Breastfeeding moms can take antihistamines BUT in small doses otherwise it can cause the milk to dry up (temporarily).

But no. She wants to milk it for the all the comments hoping she gets better. Do you realize how many times she mentioned hayfever in yesterdays vlog- while showing her "new" hair? Good Lord. Saying it once suffices. She is the type that would die of a hang nail. At the end of the day, it's allergies, take some medicine and get over it. She said it kept her in bed all night, but she was able to go get her hair done and stay out till after 5pm even when her daughter missed her "feed" at 11am. Your friends have a baby I am sure they understand if you need to breastfeed. Why not breastfeed her in the car at the restaurant while J goes in to see if your friends have arrived? He could have ordered the food and it would have been ready once you finished feeding your daughter. But I guess giving her a french fry was the better choice.

Oh my gosh, Anna is going to go batshit insane with a demanding child.  If E ends up being insecure and whiny, it will be A&J's fault. Like you said, they will reap what they have sown.

I can just see Emilia fall in the bathtub, and Anna stand there frozen with that look of bewilderment on her face that she often has. When she realizes that E can't help herself she calls for Joffee Jokes to come help her save the baby. I honestly can see it play out just like that!

I have noticed but I'm not a regular viewer so wasn't sure. Good for her, as I think so far she's been too placid and lacking in spirit. It's one thing to have a "good" baby but I'd be worried if my kid wasn't "fighting" for her way. I'd not want her to grow up docile and weak like Anna.
