I understand how you feel! I'm from Jersey and its expensive here too, especially property taxes when you buy. 1,350 gets you pretty much nothing.

Does Lily supposedly take a separate "dance class" and "gymnastics class"? Asking, because in her new vlog she goes to "gymnastics class" which looks exactly like her "dance class". If she's changed calling "dance class" to calling it "gymnastics class", she's closer, but that still isn't a CLASS. I see no trained professional instructing Lily. It's Lily and Vanessa once again PLAYING.

Yes, I know that at age 3, they're not "training for the Olympics", but as a mother with 3 girls who have been or are currently in true gymnastics and dance classes, there is a big difference in CLASSES at a studio/gym and FREE PLAY at Gymboree. And it irks me to no end that she can't tell the difference.

Her new video was so poorly edited. It's not that tough. Lol. And in the first clip she makes it so obvious that lily has on underwear. Which is great. But to me it looked like she had a diaper underneath? Not sure if that's a training technique or what.

Just watched the new video. Glad to hear that they are moving where they wanted to move. I didn't realize that Charolette was on the NC/SC border. For some reason in my mind I had it more towards the center of NC.

It's open gym, to me not even considered either but she tends to use both words for the same "open gym"

And I see people say they like how real Vanessa is, but I see her as fake. Especially in that video. She tries way to hard imo.

i was just coming here to say i thought she seemed the most real in that video! I think being around david makes her act more natural. she tries way too hard to be something she's not when she's on camera alone and i think she's with david she can actually be herself and not so forced. i think it's actually kinda cute that he makes her comfortable enough to just be normal and not so forced.

I fee like it's more like David would call her out on acting fake and putting on a facade for the camera. It's kind of embarrassing especially if you're lying to a camera when your SO who knows the truth is sitting right there. David doesn't seem to be into appearances much so he would think it was silly.

^^^^ yes! Has anyone heard of the 3 day diet? You basically starve yourself, but even then the portions are a lot more than what V seems to be eating now.
She needs to talk to a real fitness expert or a nutriologist, and stop pretending she's one before she crashes and burns.

I was wondering the same thing. I think she takes once class & Vanessa just switched it up by saying gymnastics or dance class.
I thought that maybe what we see is filmed after class & she's just playing around on the equipment after class was over.
Either that or it's just open gym. And I know my little gym is know for open gym. Your right, open gym is not a class at all.
Vanessa has always confused me. Lol. Vanessa, is it gymnastics class, dance class, or open gym?

I just moved to Old Town Alexandria outside of DC and I'm paying 1435 for a 560 sqft studio. Ugh.

We are moving shortly after the baby is born, but until then we are renting a house in the same area as where we're moving. So that we have somewhere to stay when we go down on the weekends to get our house ready (it's been a slow process). We're paying $1,200/month for a 3 bedroom 2 bath and it's less than 5 minutes from the beach. These high rents for apartments is blowing my mind!

I think V just calls it dance because that's Lily's word for it. You can see in some videos that there is an instructor there who does focus the kids on certain things. Plus V said they do have 3 other times per week that they can just go in and "practice", which is without the instructor. It's very rudimentary, not formal gymnastics. Lily may or may not have some issues with her motor skills, so whatever on that. She's doing the right thing in NOT filming other kids in a class situation, so you can't fault her for that. Same with swim. They have an instructor, then 3 days they can practice. Lily doesn't like the swim classes.

I thought they'd go for a town house. It may be cheaper to have the apartment, but I'd rather have some outdoor space. But a lot of apts. have a playground and amenities. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I hope it is less expensive so they can save for a house, but who knows on that.

She said this apartment is bigger than the townhouses they were looking. As long as it is bigger than their current place I think an apartment is fine. They just have one kid

Does anyone know what David was going to college for? or why/when he dropped out? I just finished watching the memorial day video and I just found it so odd how someone from a kinda well off family with a college fund would choose to not go and be satisfied with his life. I know for me, my biggest motivation for getting through college is knowing I'll (hopefully) have a good, stable income and won't have to give up the luxuries I grew up with.
