That nurse was everything! Tara was beyond ridiculous and quite frankly put herself at risk during her epi. You’re supposed to remain hunched over and completely still. She kept sitting up and tensing her body. The entire experience was made worse by the way she was screeching “ow”and keeping her body rigid. Also, I’m not sure I believe her when she says she was told to not push for an entire hour. That does not even seem safe.

Maybe she was saying ow, because epidurals do hurt for some people . Are you really criticizing someones pain like my God you people are nuts.

Let me help you with your reading comprehension since you seem to be lacking. I never criticized her pain. Rather, I said that she made the experience worse by keeping her body tense while saying “ow.” Have you ever even had an epidural? Perhaps if you had, you would know that arching your back and reacting the way she did is a no go for safe placement. That’s not criticism. That’s just a fact.

Really Adam lol? I could be wrong, but I have a YouTube channel and there is no way in hell you can see specifically who is sharing your videos. You can see how many times the link to your video was shared in total, but that's it. So its a bit sickening they have these people believing they will get noticed and get their shout out/secret video for their shares when Adam and Tara have no way of knowing they're just going to pick their designated random favorite people who will most likely play along

I truly believe from the bottom of my heart that she was just making all that noise for some drama. I’ve heard so many moms say, “I got the epidural but it didn’t work, it wore off etc.”
They just want to pretend like they did it naturally for the pats on the back. She did not at all look like she was delivering him naturally.
I think she’s a massive liar.
I applaud anyone who can give birth without an epidural. I’m a huge baby, and I know I won’t be able to do it without one. I would love to be able to do that, but I know I won’t.
I just get really upset when people do use epidurals, and then lie and say they didn’t work.

As a former nurse, as with any doctor will tell you. Epidurals do wear off and depending on your body, some where off faster then other women. Denouncing someones pain is crazy especially when it comes to giving birth. Everyone's body, pregnancy and pain tolerance is different. Just because you have multiple kids does not mean pregnancy or delivery gets easier. In this day in age I dont think women care if others think they have given birth naturally or not.

Seriously!?! I got the epidural both times and my first didnt even take! It lasted 30min and then wore completely off and i felt everything of that 24hr labor! If you have no idea what natural labor is you should really consider not even putting your two cents in. Unless you've been through it you don't know how hard it is. My 2nd birth the epidural worked up until i hit 10cm. And then it was pointless. The contractions hit hard and the pushing was painful too.

Personally, I would’ve said idgaf about my doctor. Get someone that is on call and let me push?! I don’t understand why they would have her wait an hour at a 10 just bc her doctor wasn’t there yet.

that is on tara she made a huge deal that with the girls she didn't have her dr so she blames her problems after birth with the girls on that she didn't have her dr. also her problems were routine but little miss screaming in the parking lot because they wouldn't admit her insisted her dr deliver grayson so if she had to wait she has no one to blame but herself

can someone explain the damn straight jacket in the very expensive cradle? I get the cradle I get swaddling him but that straight up looks like a straight jacket swaddling him I get that is just beyond stupid money doesn't buy you class shrek

I’m not doubting that it happens, just not as often as these youtubers claim. I’ve seen about 3 birth vlogs where they get an epidural and say it didn’t work. That’s a lot of failed epidurals. We all know Tara lies too.

OH MY GOD I AM DUE IN AUGUST & her birth vlog legit scared me! I was like oh my gosh is it really that bad WITH an epidural?!?!?! lol watching her was so cringeworthy

I thought the pain part was pretty accurate actually. When you get that urge to push and are told not to push, it’s brutal. I had a similar reaction when I had an almost 10 pound baby—so much pressure. I agree though, the majority of the vlog was a bit boring.

Same. The epidural for me was super uncomfortable to get and it hurt. It made the contractions bearable for a few hours but it wore off when I was pushing and I felt everything. Eric d time around I had a spinal (C-section) and it took 7 pokes in the back to get it to take—once it took it was awesome though. Everyone has a different experience. Tara can be annoying in some ways, but her pregnancy and birth somehow didn’t irritate me—I thought she handled the end of pregnancy rather well too. Unlike some who are trying to go into labor one month early.

So I watched her birth vlog.... wow dramatic as hell. I had to skip through cause it was boring af. First off, I’m surprised they were “allowed” to film. Second, I’m shocked that Adam was in the room with her when she got the epidural. When I got mine, my husband had to wait outside until it was done. I didn’t feel a thing after that, until it started to wear off on one side. Even with that, I was not yelling and wailing like she was. All that crying was unnecessary and I do agree that the staff was over their shit. She’s just so dramatic

I couldn’t believe all of her whining! She carried on while getting the epidural and you’d have thought she hadn’t gotten a thing when she was in labor.

Also, she kept whining about the nurse not letting her push and how she was holding back. Pushing is a natural thing your body does when you’re in labor. Someone who is truly at the point of delivery can’t hold back and not push. Your body does it anyway. It’s not like holding back an orgasm.

I had an appendectomy at 38 weeks. It wasn’t the laser surgery. The doc had to legit cut me open because they had to find my appendix (it was a little displaced due to being 38 weeks pregnant). I went back in 3 weeks and had a vaginal delivery with a failed epidural. I didn’t whine, cry and moan as much as Tara did.

Those hospital pics are not good and neither are the rest of the pics on that photographer’s instagram ...why would she use them? She should have used the photographer who took the first set of maternity pics with the girls. Those were high quality. These look amateur.
