Jesus what is it with Americans and inductions?? Nothing against American, I am American but I've had all my babies in the UK. There is no medical validity to induction unless you have a specific reason. Do these women (and their doctors) just want to plan their schedules? Surely Bri going into spontaneous labor would be way more interseting for YT? I know from experience that waiting around to go into labour sucks, but it's just part of it!

In my experience giving birth in the US and all of the people that I know in real life, youtubers have much higher rates of induction than the average pregnant woman.

For me i had an induction due to my baby might getting to big for me to give birth naturally, but other then that i do think people should wait if i have a second i would like to do just wait but that wont happen.

For me it was because we didn’t have any form of childcare and I didn’t want to give birth alone. We are also an hour away
From the hospital. I have a history of very short births so giving birth on the side of the road isn’t exactly ideal

Not everyone has a support system also. You schedule based on life. Whether you agree with it or not it’s the reality of many of our lives

Except she has a support system. We all know the kids are going to go stay with their great-grandparents when it happens.

I had an induction with my daughter because of preeclampsia and it sucked. I’m hoping I don’t need to do it with my second. I see people in my due date group already talking about it - like, whoa Nelly, we aren’t even halfway through. But this is Bri, she’s probably trying to figure out when she can have the “emotional birth vlog” in her schedule, along with “baby name/gender reveal” and “newborn essentials.” There’s a lot of content riding on this baby, she can’t take the risk he’s a little late and ruining her content plan.

I completely agree that youtubers tend to schedule inductions far more often than the average woman. They always have some type of excuse but I just see them all being in competition with who can have the smallest baby first tbh. I didn’t go into labor until 41 weeks and stalled so I was technically induced and it was awful. For me at least!!

I totally agree for me it was awful as well i did it at 40 weeks due to the baby might be growing to much and then i would have to do a c-section but yeah it was a very hard experience that made me not want to go through it again

So glad someone else thinks so. I can’t even watch them anymore it’s too cringe. I used to like her channel but it keeps getting more cringeworthy.

I legitimately thought her cookbook idea was a joke at first but I think she’s serious. I don’t know what makes her think this is an even vaguely good idea. Shouldn’t you be able to actually cook in order to make a cookbook? Dumping jars of alfredo sauce into a saucepan or slow cooker doesn’t mean you can cook.

If this is the standard for being able to write a cookbook, I guess I’m Martha Stewart.

Honestly I couldn't even watch it for more than 2 seconds, it's so cringe. The only YTM who can get away with it is Aaryn Williams. Bri and Tara know that people think it's funny so they attempt it...so awful!
