Sorry I havent posted in awhile been taking care of my little guy..He was sick a few weeks ago and now he's teething so it hasnt been a very good couple of weeks for us. Lots of sleepless nights. Anywho, first I just want to tell angelfacemoma that I am so sorry Lucy threw you under the bus just like she did to me when her "surprise" video came about and the whole MC. As for the CFA and the phone I believe Lucy purposely threw her phone away to say CFA stole it so she can get a new one..it would be up her alley to jump on the band wagon of the controversial CFA issues. I mean think about it has she ever mentioned CFA before or her views on it? Who just randomly goes there to eat and then *gasp* her phone is stolen??? sounds like shes trying to make news headlines with this one girls lol

Lucy is known for not caring or knowing about companies' ethics and history. In reply to a comment about the company of a product she was endorsing or hosting a giveaway (can't recall the specific item), she said something along the lines of she didn't need to know anything about the company to talk about the product. I doubt she has an opinion for or against CFA since they ate there and since she never, to my knowledge, included the controversial issues in her rants about the phone theft. Although, like you said, I wouldn't put it passed Lucy to purposefully lose her phone there to get on the news or to get a new free phone, or both.

As for her MC and all the recent TTC stuff..I decided to go back and watch some of her videos I think shes educated on the whole charting thing so I was curious since my better half and I are planning to do natural family planning with other birthcontrol options...and I found something really interesting....

At about 3:40/4:00 Lucy talks about past MC's [youtube] [/youtube] She talks about them like it doesn't even bother who and no where does she mention it took her a "month" to pass anything or that she was in the hospital on Vicodin (I found that comment ill post it) and then there was the one where she didn't; know she was pregnant...okay she claims to have passed a TMI WARNING a grey clot the size of a golf ball (she uses her hand) if she was only 4/5 weeks along she would not have passed something that big. She said she went to the ER and they did a urine test and it didn't show up..first of all...if it came back inconclusive they would repeat the test and or do blood-work and then a physical exam or vise versa. She said her cervix was open...your cervix is open when you're on your menstrual cycle which she said she had put a tampon in because she thought she was going to start soon and then suddenly noticed a clot.

This was when she was ttcing for Kacen...[youtube] [/youtube] she was questioning a MC or "Chemical Pregnancy" because of spotting and LOOK she didn't seem as distraught as her most recent MC; Infact even in the above video she doesn't seem upset at all talking about them but in her recent MC video shes doing the pity me saying she can't go into detail and she'll never okay talking about it but here she is talking about it plain as day all nonchalant its no big deal but omg now that she in her mind is "FAMOUS" she is all show...more drama more money.

AND apparently Jacelyn never knew she was pregnant or even knew the word pregnant means but yet shes asking all those questions at Lucy's OB appointment and lucy said Jace now knows the baby is gone...I thought she didnt even know she was pregnant?

I'm usually not so "nitpicky" nor am I being mean just stating facts and my opinion. and personally I liked Lucy before all the YT views went to her head because back then she was A LOT more likable and not so show boat. and if anyone knows of OTHER YT moms that are educated in charting and NFP pleaseee send me a link so I dont have to go watch Lucys videos.

VERY INTERESTING! Thanks for finding these videos. I agree. Lucy's attitude and emotions while recounting her past miscarriages then and now seem like night and day. She seemed so nonchalant about them in those older videos. Given, she did say she was pissed/livid about the doctor's use of the term abortion, which she repeated in her baby #4 miscarriage video, but she was practically emotionless when she said it in the older videos.

I don't think the grey clot from 2004 was an empty sac or miscarried material. It could have been her endometrium or a portion of a fibroid, or even a portion of her tampon coated in uterine lining (if she wore one prior to that incident). After a quick Google search, I think she described a DECIDUAL CAST. It is usually associated with an ectopic pregnancy OR normal periods, but since she didn't have any subsequent problems that cycle, it was most likely a decidual cast as part of normal menstruation, NOT a miscarriage, but I could be wrong as I'm not a medical professional. From what I read about decidual casts, if she had a blood pregnancy test that came back negative at that time, then she was not pregnant.

I don't know of any vloggers focused on NFP aside from Lucy, but I don't follow many vloggers. But there must be some; she can't be the only NFP YTer. I did find quite a few websites about NFP, although you are probably already aware of those.

OH BTW I dont know if anyone has mentioned this but if you watch her videos on a mobile device or tablet she doesn't get paid because its a different app for mobiles so those views dont count. Also you can put a add blocker (I use google chrome and this https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... e-ntp-icon its called Adblock. first one that shows up)

I considered using AdBlock, but I usually watch her videos on my phone. How do we know she doesn't get paid for mobile views? Does it say somewhere in Google/YT's Terms? I'd really like to know for sure before watching any more of her videos. What about video hits? Does anyone know if those factor into her pay scale for AdSense or YT Partners?

Okay so as a partner I looked this up. When we upload videos we can select each video to only be playable on formats that allow us to get paid. It is labeled as monetized platforms.

So what I understand coming from that is from Android and Apple products the app and mobile website for Youtube is Monetized. This goes for GoogleTV, Xbox, Wii, and Youtube on TV.

I think ur setting itself up to fail. U may revel in the attention and worship ur getting from the majority of YT viewers, but this is all transient. I think u might've setting itself up for failure.
You have read many times on here that you try to act perfect.
I do see genuine joy in ur face when I'm watching your videos.. And ur kids are delightful happy little things. But u are putting way too much energy into trying to make others jealous ( whether u realise it or not//// but I think u do realise it), u spend too much time having a big ego and thinking ur a better mom, more educated, making better choices... Yeah, you can tell she reads this forum. Nice recipe post, haha. I bet she is trying everything she can to try to get it shutdown. How can a mom of three be okay with constantly eating out in her videos and not developing her cooking skills? It's a shame really and she has admitted it herself.

I would also personally be embarrassed if I delegated so many tasks to my husband. Part of being a mom and wife is being in the tough stuff and helping out. Refusing to clean up certain fluids or whatever is unacceptable. The amount of times she mentions that Joel takes all the kids to do something out of the house so that she can then have time to get ready seems selfish. That's just not being down to earth or a real person because no, not every mom has their hair flat ironed with coordinating outfits on her kids every day. Why does she think people want to see that in a video? We know that isn't her everyday life. That is simply vanity to be all smiley and fake on youtube, it doesn't come across as humble or genuine. She seems to really like attention and comes off as very dramatic instead. I don't think she was fake crying in her miscarriage video and I did feel badly for her but I think its just due to her being dramatic. Lots of people can really wind themselves up for something as simple as a comment from another person. She lets TONS of little things affect her deeply and makes them into a big ordeal. Therapy would probably be helpful for that?

She is being a bit shady with her auction and the paypal situation as well. I don't care if she has an auction or about the stuff she sells, lot of people do that. I care that she is asking buyers to add on 3% extra or lie and say its a gift. Guess what Lucy? Paypal for buyers is always FREE. Sellers have to pay a 3% service fee to use the serivce, much like ebay or anywhere else. She is getting around paying what she rightfully owes paypal by asking buyers to add it to their payment and essentially pay it for her. It's irresponsible.

I would like to see Lucy do more nice things for people in general in her videos or otherwise. She seems really really self absorbed. Why not do giveaways? Why not treat her playgroup that she loves so much out to an activity with her youtube money she receives for filming them? Why not donate most(not just a few things) of that auction to goodwill to show her children how to be generous.

I did want to comment on people saying she loves Jacelyn less, etc. I don't think that is true and even though most stuff she does is fake and dramatic, she does seem to be loving when she mentions them and I don't think we have to nitpick it. Sure, she gets a bit wrapped up in the baby of the group but she clearly loves all her kids. She has toys all over her house, takes them to activities, etc. It's not necessarily the best thing to do for a child but it comes from a place of love. I think people are forgetting that you can be self absorbed and attention seeking with most things in life but also actually like your kids. It doesn't have to be either or. She probably wants to take them to the zoo for them and then also dresses fancy to get attention for herself, i don't believe she would take them simple for attention for her, you know what I mean? You hit the nail on the head. There are so many other far more important things (like that windsheild, and his speech) that she should be worried about. She should be cooking home meals for her family. WTF does she even do all day then because when I signed on to be a SAHM I signed on to keep a clean house and to provide my family with healthy meals too ! Breastfeeding a child until age 18 will not change the fact that when they start to eat she just feeds them crap ! And hello, if she needs money then eating out all of the time (especially with a family of 5) is really expensive. Maybe she wouldn't have to cheat paypal out of its 3% if she cooked at home instead of always going out to eat.

Yes, when I stayed home with my son I cooked every single night, I still do. We will usually eat out about once every two weeks and it's NOT mcdonalds. We try to choose healthy food at the restaurant and I try to make sure my son picks healthy options. He is sent to school with a healthy lunch everyday. But when Lucy makes some SIMPLE casserole she posts it on Facebook and makes a big deal about it. I wonder when the last home cooked meal was before that one.

I also like that she chose two casseroles. Those are probably one of the most unhealthy things you can cook at home anyway and when she posted the photo, one was burnt. One person on facebook asked her jokingly if she got the recipes off of pinterest and she replied only with "no". She is so rude when people don't agree with her and she is incapable of fun banter with fans. Why not be thankful that those people watch her videos and give her all that money? I agree that she will soon post a day in the life where she cooks and cleans except I bet it'll be the first time ever that she does it.

She won't mention Kacen's speech issues because it takes away from the image she tries to portray as "supermom". I'm guessing she would say it's too private of an issue but we all know she shares absolutely anything she can. If she was a real person, she would talk about it and give other moms someone to relate to and ask questions. I was originally a fan as well, just like the old video someone posted, she seemed down to earth. one thing ive wondered is if she is writing a lot of her kid related purchases off on her tax return as business expenses. her youtube gig is a small business and she has to pay taxes on her income. if any activity or thing is for a video then she can write it off on her taxes as a business expense and that is less that she has to pay in taxes. i'm sure thats why she posts a ton of small pointless clips of her kids at activities because she can write off the cost of the activity. i also really dont see how they are not on state health insurance. where else would they have insurance? its impossible. not that there is anything wrong with needing to be on it if you need to but with her life style and spending habits you wouldnt guess that.
