I don't even give a shit what gender or how heavy Lucy's baby was. It's such old news now. A little suspense maybe, but this is stupid and has just backfired.

she overexagerates EVERYTHING - every illness that her family get (which is all the time) is some "special" strain that - - no one else has, it's always 1000x worse than anyone else whos ever had it, etc

That is truly my biggest pet peeve with her the DRAMA. I love how every pregnancy at some point she says, "Oh, this pregnancy is nothing like my others". Girl, please! They're all the same. Cramping, nausea. Then about 14-18wks some type if scare. Jacelyn vanishing twin, Kacen preterm labor, Peyson preterm labor scare THEN now a placental bleed & then if course the notorious blood clotting disorder. They are all yhe same good grief. With Peyson she had a membrane sweep because "I just can't handle being pregnant any linger, emotionally I'm exhausted". Remember she was in "labor" for like days prior to Peyson's birthday. Her midwife came over and they started working in "having this baby".

I think there is nothing wrong with their kids names. To say it's disgusting because they rhyme really? My siblings and I all share the same first letter and my kids all share the same last letter..it's not a big deal. Their names actually seem to fit them.

But yes, my mom is. CNM and there is a huge difference between that and a lay midwife. Lucy had "practical midwifes" (lay). My mom was a L & D nurse for 15 years or so before returning to school. Shes now been a CNM for quite a while. She does basically everything the doctor does except like c-sections. The level of education is quite different between the two types of midwifes. I would only recommend a lay midwife if the mother is very low risk, and even then things have happened that are outside the scope of practice for a lay midwife to deal with.

Haha. Thanks! No, I'm not. I wish I was that good. I simply keep my eyes peeled for replies from Lucy when I can. Lucy always gives the juiciest details and contradictions in her replies to people.

Back when I could view Lucy's IG, I noticed the doula reposted one of Lucy's maternity photos and tagged her. Someone had asked a few weeks ago who her midwife was and Lucy quickly answered. NHance had tagged one of the Germash ladies on several FB images from Peyson's home birth. Too bad I can't access her IG any longer.

Thank you for clarifying the difference between a CNM and practical midwife. That totally explains why Lucy's midwife kept consulting that CNM who specialized in blood disorders. I'm surprised Lucy wasn't advised to switch to a high-risk OB or that specialist CNM. Then again, maybe she was but decided not to listen.

Imagine if she really was waiting for Kate to have her baby so that she could name her baby the same name!! She be like "Ya'll, I was so totally going to name Rainbow that same name but add a "lyn" or "cen" at the end. Now are babies can be "twinsies"! Now my baby is like royalty!"
