Is it just me, or does Vera’s limbs always seem to look a bit disproportionate?

I've said for a while now that her right arm looks shorter than her left.

Also, I'm not one to judge baby milestones either but I follow another couple with a baby and, I'm not certain of the age difference but I think she's about 6 weeks older than Vera but she's walking (holding on to furniture though) Vera's not even crawling, or from what we can't see, moving around on her tummy etc. It's as though Joan wants her to be a baby for ever.

I want to say she also just recently started sitting unassisted. She's what, 10 months old? I would be worried if my 10 month old was still not mobile at all and was only just learning to sit up.

I follow her on instagram , I have never lost a child so I cant imagine how she feels but poor Vera is going to have to live in the shadow of her dead sister. She seems to focus more about her dead child then the one she has alive . That is just the feeling I get from her insta. I dont watch her youtube.

Jeez Joan, put that baby down! In every sit down video she's on Joan's lap and wriggling like hell. She can easily put her on the floor by her feet and let her play!

Agreed. And Vera will never learn to crawl if she’s constantly being held.

Because Mother’s Day wouldn’t be complete without Joan bringing her grief into it. Even her post on her personal page was focused on losing Maeve. (She was interviewed for a news article). Like come on... your first Mother’s Day with Vera & that’s what you post?!
I’m all for donating to charity, but I would have been more impressed if she said “from this date to this date, all sales will go to charity”
Because who’s to say it won’t be like $1 from each sale? She didn’t share the total of her last donation.
Also, why can they not make a private donation WITH THEIR OWN MONEY?!

Joan! Stop expecting people to fund your life!!!!

Poor Vera. Even Mother's Day is all about Maeve.
Since she probably reads here, no, Joan. Nobody expects you to "get over" losing Maeve. That's not what anyone has said. What would be great, though, would be for you to really appreciate the amazing daughter you _have_. Do some posts about her, and how much you love her. Without mentioning her dead sister or having a fox in the photo. Celebrate Vera. Just Vera. No one is going to forget about Maeve.

Oh I get it! Wishing you all the best with your rainbow baby.

She doesn't seem to want Vera to be mobile.
I follow a celebrity couple on Instagram who had a boy in August and he's on the verge of walking. I hate comparing baby milestones but I feel Joan is holding her back

I don't think I've ever seen Vera left alone on the floor to crawl around or explore. Joan is constantly holding onto her like a newborn baby???

He's posted on Insta stories, they are out in the garden and Vera is in her high chair having her food! Why can't they put her on a rug on the grass with her food on paper plates so she can move around a bit?

Instead of realizing that Vera already has some special needs and addressing such they are going to run out and have another baby. What if this one has special needs too. Can John handle it? Will Joan finally lose her mind?

In the new bathroom video she put Vera on the changing table but was not really letting her go. I'm sure Vera would have been fine if Joan just let go a bit... Obviously I don't mean walk away from her but just not be so clingy.

What special needs are you referring to? I mean I read this thread casually and have seen posts about Vera not moving around much on her own, but does that qualify for a special need? Am I missing something lol?

At first glance, I just assumed this was a “nursery is finally set up” photo. Like prior to actually properly setting the crib level. But in the comments Joan admits that V is sleeping in the crib with it up that high.
She also mentions in the comments that V is in physical therapy, someone asked what for, no response so far.

So does this mean V isn’t even bringing herself to sitting on her own? Because that’s when the crib should be lowered.

If she is in physical therapy I’m happy they are addressing her issues instead of ignoring them. I personally know a couple who’s daughter didn’t pull up or walk until nearly 3 years old due to them not getting her the help she needed. Image
