When did she do the dress haul on Instagram, this is the same day this was filmed?

She really sad and pathetic and I can’t believe any sponsors would want to continue to work with her.

The dress haul was from a week ago and she looked a lot better in this IG Story. So this was the next day and I guess they are more delayed than I had figured or I thought they were about five days delayed filming and uploading.

Bonnie is impaired, so she can’t see things clearly right now, but Joel can. He isn’t blinded by his love for her. If he truly loved her he’d be doing more to protect her image like Jared does with Ellie. Joel is just a lazy vlogger willing to exploit his kids and wife for easy money. Vlogging the Lush wasn’t about making Bonnie happy either, it was about making himself look like the doting husband. He worries about his own image, but not Bonnie’s. The viewers they are alienating will never come back after this. Joel isn’t the best businessman but he should at least understand that basic principle.

Do you ever read the comments on her Instagram. They praise Joel for being the best husband and father ever to walk this earth. Of course we know better but he sure has their followers fooled.

Bonnie and Ellie have always bought Lush. Ellie has said before she buys like 30 bath bombs a month (she uses them daily). It’s an insane waste of money, but I think they feel like wasting it is some kind of status thing.

When you clearly have mental health issues, self-care needs to go a lot farther than luxury baths.

One a day! Are you serious! I knew Bonnie and Ellie used bath bombs frequently, but wow that is literally dumping money down the drain.
I seriously doubt they bathe once a day. They both look like they could use a good scrubbing - especially Bonnie.

Is it a far fetch to think Bonnie is addicted to pain pills and she’s getting more surgeries so she can (in her mind) have an excuse to continue to take the pills?

Are the people in Utah living that much under a rock that they don’t understand that pain pill addiction can happen after surgeries, etc?

I seriously think her family don’t realise what’s happening.

They totally think “this can’t happen to me” “I’m better than that” “Heavenly Father will protect me”. Such utter bullshit. They think they’re untouchable with all other safety issues, why would this be different. They are willfully ignorant. The facts are at there and readily available. Lisa Ling did a whole freaking episode about the issue in their culture/area. You have to choose to ignore the facts in this day and age. Things are going to come crashing down eventually. The license should be stripped from whoever is writing her scripts because they are completely complicit as well. Absolutely unreal this has gone on this long TWICE.

Haha! Good point. Also I could imagine Ellie taking a bath but not actually washing herself. Gross. I don't like to think about the Griffiths hygeine!

They do collectively have a very smug attitude. But hasn't Ruby admitted to having a pill problem at one point after surgery? It sounds like this is not the first time for the family and they should recognize it, especially since this is not the first time for Bonnie. So maybe they are ignoring it and choosing to look away and pretend it can't happen to them. But any normal family would not let this go on (and be broadcast on the internet for all their friends, family, church members, etc to see)

Ellie is the one that said she uses them nightly. Bonnie definitely always has some on hand though.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but a big part of a pain pill addiction is also continued pain. It isn’t just about the high. For Bonnie, she may be taking the pills because she feels she needs them to control the pain. Unfortunately the pain won’t ever actually go away if she becomes dependent on the pills.
I definitely think she’d be more reluctant to have surgery if there wasn’t the promise of narcotics to ease the days post-surgery.

Yes, Ruby has.
There is NO excuse for any of her family not to notice or step in. Everyone has some idea of what an addiction looks like, its discussed often in todays world, AND there is no way they aren't getting messages from people who are seriously concerned. There is no excuses.

I don’t think they’re as close of a family as they initially pretended to be. Even Ellie and Bonnie who were inseparable for a few years. Their relationship seemed pretty vapid, shallow, and surface-level. They might all be too self-involved to want to deal with each others’ problems.

So true. All of them are so emotionally stunted that I doubt they have the capacity to truly care for one another. It's very sad that none of them grew up to understand the dysfunction in their family and break out of it.

Sometimes family dynamics are complicated and I would say theirs are. It’s tough to know when to step in and when to not, and often they really can’t handle the truth. I stepped up and told my sister the truth once when she needed to hear it but it just ended our relationship for a long time. I don’t think they are honest with each other and they are their only friends they have so they don’t rock the boat.

They’ve all changed a lot too. Maybe they were functional in a way before YouTube “fame” and now they’re just the worst parts of themselves. When they first started out it seemed like the sisters were always FaceTiming each other and at the grandparent’s house. Now they seem isolated. Maybe, due to a little exposure to the outside world, Bonnie got some inkling that her childhood and family weren’t as great as she had thought. She seems resentful at times, and rightfully so!

It's both. I definitely had chronic pain when I was addicted, but it was also about the feeling of well-being that I got from them. I have had surgery since I have been in recovery, and it's very different. I don't want to keep taking them, because I have better coping skills. I think someone hit the nail on the head when they said Bonnie expects to be completely pain free. Most people accept some pain as part of the recovery from surgery process. Bonnie seems to have convinced her doctor that she still "needs" opiates when she shouldn't by now in a normal recovery. All the comments about how "close" she feels to him, and how Joel said the doctor "knows how delicate she is"(HA!) make me suspect he knows how to handle those Beverly Hills ladies with more money than sense, and probably over prescribes to keep them coming back. Obviously, that's just my opinion. But responsible doctors don't keep prescribing this far out from surgery, and wouldn't have been easy on her after the way she so obviously ignored post-op instructions last time.

Maybe Ruby did say something and the rest didn’t want to hear it. How can you say you were out of it for three months and not connect it to the meds. The doctor and Joel need to stop enabling her.

Is it just me or has Olivia been wearing the same shirt in the past 3 vlogs? Too lazy to go back and look, and I don't want to give her more views. Just thought it was weird.

She actually wore the same purple shirt in the last 4 vlogs, although it looks like she finally changed shirts in the last vlog (today's).
