YouTube Moms and a 'Perfect Birth'

I was thinking of posting this in Jess's thread, but how far do you think some youtube moms would go to get a perfect birth? I don't blame them for wanting the birth experience that they want, but some are putting their health and their baby's health at risk to get it. Sarah Firestone went way overdue because she wanted to have an unassisted birth. Alison from Raising the Barrs also attempted a vbac after two c-sections, and she nearly died after her bladder and uterus ruptured (after many doctors told her that she shouldn't have a vbac!) Other moms like Jess are so desperate to have a home birth that I think they would do anything to get one. I also think that there might be some unspoken competition on youtube to have a perfect birth.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?
