She has been a bit inconsistent lately. I like her because I am also a working mom so I can relate to her a ton. I wish she would upload more.

I will say her husband seems a bit idk how to say it..useless? That feels like the wrong word, but it seems like she and Emma are always eating dinner alone while he eats in front of the tv. And Kimmy is always alone. I think maybe he doesnt like to be on camera perhaps

I've been watching this channel for a long time and lurking on these boards just as long but I finally made an account because of Britneyandbaby drama (also, shout out to Kimmy for introducing me to Britney's channel way back when!) so I can now say my thoughts on The Dodge Family, too. First, I want to say that I think her struggle with infertility and miscarriages is sad and I'm happy for her she had her second baby without complications. Good for them. Second, I know she's a "full time working mom!" (because she mentions it EVERY TIME!) so I get that she doesn't have the same time and energy or whatever you want to say to put into full or even part time you-tubing like other SAHM mom vloggers.

This board is basically a ghost town because Kim is either super boring, super popular (doubtful) or most likely, too low on the totem pole for anyone to notice, but whatever, here are the gripes I have with this family/channel:
1) Irks me to no end that she is a grown woman/mother that goes by 'Kimmy'. Please call yourself Kim or Kimberly.
2) She subtly complains about her channel not growing as fast as other channels (like Britney's) and constantly mentions goals for it to grow (still hasn't reached 10k yet...) and it's obnoxious. She'll say this and then say "but I never intend to be a full time you-tuber".. well okayyyy, then you can't really expect your channel to grow too much if it's not a priority (which is fine, but then don't complain.)
3) She doesn't stick to a good schedule, her videos are pretty boring (especially the vlogs where it's just minutes of the kid(s) playing or dancing...?) and the quality of the videos she does put out is pretty poor (shaky, bad editing)
4) I totally understand and respect that she's super religious but she mentions it in every. single. video. It's kind of over the top. I'm sure there's a certain niche audience that appreciates all the divine shoutouts, but I think to the average viewer it's a turnoff and isn't helping her channel grow. Give all your glory to heaven, that's totally cool, but please stop mentioning it about everything and anything (their house selling, a new car, not believing in Santa, etc.)
5) Her makeup. This isn't 2005, stop lining your eyes in black kohl liner. You're a 30+ woman, please learn how to wear age-appropriate and face-flattering makeup.
6) Her ups and downs with diet and exercise. Either stick to something or stop mentioning yet another new regimen.
7) She clearly spoils her kids with toys. They don't believe in Santa or the Easter Bunny so everything comes from Mommy and Daddy and it is way too much. Every holiday Emma gets yet another goodie bag of new things. But, y'all, she's so blessed to be able to provide these for her kids. Whenever she pans over the playroom or bedroom it's like the Target toy aisle in full display.
8) She says she won't do house tours for privacy yet I've seen basically her entire old house and most of her new house already. Plus we know her full name and location thanks to her PO Box. Soooo not sure how much privacy you're really getting. She's choosing to broadcast her home and children on youtube-- no one is making her. You can't have it both ways, Kimmy.
9) her husband is weird and seems like a total dud who doesn't help at all. I hope I'm wrong and he's just super uncomfortable with being on camera or online but yikes! Do us all a favor: the less you show of him, the better.
10) She's a huge hypocrite. Don't ask me how I know, but I do.

I had to unfollow her today. She's been sharing some dangerously inaccurate information re. Covid on her Instagram. Terrifying stuff! Thankfully her following isn't too big and it won't reach too many people...

I still have a hard time believing she didn't know she was pregnant. I have a feeling she just waited to announce and decided to call it a surprise. Her channel is dead so why not try to revive it with a "surprise pregnancy".

I've never posted on this forum but I had to today. I just unfollowed Kimmie on Instagram. She has been posting QAnon conspiracy theory posts in her stories. She also shared something from Breibart yesterday in her stories. I'm sorry, people can have whatever political beliefs they want but she's gone full right wing crazy. I wonder if she's always been that way or if she's shifted in that political direction over the last few years.

With the "surprise" pregnancy thing, my hunch is that she did get oopsie pregnant and knew pretty early but didn't announce it to anyone because she just started a new job in March. I'm sure she didn't want to announce she was pregnant immediately after starting a new job so waited as long as she could. Around 23 weeks when she announced her "I didn't know I was pregnant!" story was probably the longest she could physically hide it.

Her complaining on insta stories about Isabelle not being able to attend daycare because a child tested positive with covid is ridiculous. If her child had gotten it I guarantee she would be blaming the daycare center.
