Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
I know I said I was going to shut up. But I just have one small but important point.
_Nobody_ that I saw said rich/well.to do people don't have problems or a right to discuss the ones they have. Parenting small children is hard, no matter how much money you have. Trying to keep a marriage together can be hard. And although I know I am dismissive of vlogging as a career, I am sure that trying to keep subscribers engaged every day can be stressful. What lost my sympathy (and I think other people's) is when they were listing their stressors and included going to a free beach house, and flying out to California without the kids, to drink and jump into B& M's new pool, and planning fancy birthday parties for the kids. _Those_ are first world problems. Not parenting, or having marital struggles or dealing with an addicted sister (even though that's not common knowledge). I just wanted to make that clear, because it seems like a lot of people think there's some reverse snobbery going on here.

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
I think they have a lot going on they haven't mentioned (and that's fine if they want to keep it private)
and there is more to it than just not feeling it and there just using it as a cover up
I think Katie had or is suffering from PND her KOTFS video (B's 12mth update near the end?)
she mentioned something about a doing a post partum update and got quite emotional and its seems more than just Brooks is a "challenging" baby
but is seem she not ready to film it (which I understand she may never be)
Cullen I think with his sister being released soon is bringing up so unresolved issues with his dad's passing, not having a service
and he hasn't be able to grieve fully plus their friend's dad passing recently brought up those feelings again
I really think there marriage is suffering and they are just co-existing with the kids
I had that happen it took some time and work but we got there but I hope whatever changes they decided work for them
and they can find the spark they had for each other as it looks like they have both lost it

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
I caved and watched. Some parts seemed genuine but Katie lost me at her defensiveness. It is clear they are struggling as a couple which is sad. I remember one of the things I used to like about them is how you could tell their love for each other . It’s not been as palpable for s very long time.
I finally unsubbed. They were the last family I continued to watch. I think I have enough of them and their stress.
I will keep up with them just reading here lol y’all are great! the ones who defend them and of course the ones who don’t . I said a few months back that they will eventually get to be like all other families that fall off the pedestal. I think it’s slowly starting

I'm beginning to wonder if there will be a vlog today. They are usually up by now.

Cullen probably had to tie his shoe. It was too stressful so they're taking the day off.

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
Well. Cullen posted an Instagram photo of brooks with a Barbie, no mention of a late/no vlog. If they're not intending to post a video today then they learned absolutely nothing.
Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
I feel they're milking the situation by uploading late/not uploading at all today to generate more speculation. Whether they're doing on purpose or not it's eventually going to backfire on them when their fans get tired of it (I already am, and I'm sure most of us are) and unsubscribe and move on. I felt pretty optimistic yesterday because I thought they had learned that this wasn't the way to handle things but today we're back to the drawing board.

They have no schedule. Zero time management. Or maybe they just don't care. Katie better start applying to jobs soon. Yesterday was Grand Dolly day, and today Gaines is at MDO. No reason they don't have time because of their "challenging kids."

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
It really would do them a world of good to have a set work schedule. And with both kids out of the house a few hours every other day they should be able to get on top of things.
I'm sure not uploading or uploading late is to try and get more views. Heck they didn't even have to film yesterday, they said in yesterday's video that they had filmed a vlog but the sit down complaining session was too long to include that footage. It could have been edited and ready to go for today's video!

Still no sight of the Suburban. Did Cullen wreck it? Hmmmm?

The vlog is up. Footage from Wednesday. I'm only halfway through, but Cullen is so freaking proud of himself for putting toys in some drawers in the playroom. It's like he's saying "see!? I do stuff!"

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
They actually show the front end a little in today's vlog when Katie is getting Gaines in the car before school. So if there was an accident, it wasn't bad enough to be taken into a shop right away. He could have been pulled over though.nutbagmcgee wrote:Still no sight of the Suburban. Did Cullen wreck it? Hmmmm?

You can see the suburban in the drive way, weird that they're not driving it though. Maybe they took the seats out for party supplies and are just too lazy to put them back?
Also, hilarious that Gaines thinks organizing and cleaning means somebody is coming haha

They are tired and overworked yet send the kids away a few times a week and therefore get a break?
Sure your problems are work/kid related.....
I liked them both way more before they moved.

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
They only have Gaines 3 full days a week. 3 days at MDO, and 1 Grand Dolly day. They deserve a break from vlogging, but I agree with you that there's no way the kids are the main stressor.Nuna wrote:They are tired and overworked yet send the kids away a few times a week and therefore get a break?

There's definitely something fishy here.askeptichere wrote:They only have Gaines 3 full days a week. 3 days at MDO, and 1 Grand Dolly day. Isn't Brooks going to have a Granddolly day starting soon as well?
