Most of them do. It’s actually set by the federal government and Fannie Mae. I imagine though it could set up another housing crisis because of the low down payments. It doesn’t give you much equity in a house.

Even if that is so, they still require PMI. The state I am from is one of few (it was the only one when we bought our home, not sure if that had changed), that had a program to get rid of PMI. PMI kind of defeats the purpose of buying a house. That makes any home they purchase far more expensive than it would be if she saved up a 20% down payment. She could have bought a decent house for her son but she had to buy a house now because you know, "the one thing I have is money" and she wanted to show it.
Oh yes. She is probably paying $100 or so extra for the PMI. You can get rid of it by having the back reappraise your house once you have 20% equity.

Personally I think people should have 20% down. It helps in case of falling house values.

Her PMI would be way more than $100 a month. It's typically 1% and her house is at least 300000k.

I honestly think you have a soft spot for britney lately, you defend her almost as much as you defend Keren and khoa.

What? No way. But I will agree with her reasoning on waiting to do the conversion. Because I can relate to it. Whether she is just making that up who knows.

How can you relate? Wasn't your house already modified when you moved in? You said you had everything ready before you moved in.
You used to talk crap about her decisions but lately you are sticking up for her even when she makes dumb decisions. It's weird because your opinions seem to have changed over the last month or so since she first announced she was buying this house.[/quote]

Yes it was modified. What I meant is we did a lot of work on this house ourselves while building to keep the mortgage down. We even bought all our light fixtures and other things at home improvement stores. We cashed flowed a lot during the process so we would have a lower mortgage. We will cash flow the basement also in the future to finish if because my dad can do a lot of the work.

Do you REALLY think britney will cash flow anything? She threw a freaking rug away because of a quarter size milk stain! She won't cash flow this. If someone told her that she would have no money next week, she would still spend her last $5 on Starbucks. She will never renovate any part of this house for Nolan.

Maybe not. Who knows. Like I said she could just be covering her butt after all the hate for this house. All I meant was her reasoning whether she was genuine or not was right.

Would I have built a house like that when I had a kid with MD. Probably not. Everyone is also right that she never would of bought a resale home. The thought of a used house would of repulsed her. Just like everything in her life this was a impulsive decision that wasn’t thought about much. Which a lot of first time homeowners do. So combine that with Britney having to have everything right now it’s probably a recipe for disaster.

Has she mentioned how much of the house deposit they each came up with percentage wise?
If Frank was an evil genius B would be the perfect potential victim. Fresh out of a long term relationship, desperate, tell her what she wants to hear and have an ‘oopsie’ and she’s putty in your hand.
Plot twist; he’s gonna wait til the house is built, then split with half the cash, go live with his parents and they will have Scarecrow on ‘his’ weekends while he puts his mini frank in multiple minions from his ‘fan base’ *sINgLEdADliFE*

Chloe, I realize your parents built your home recently, but you are actually quite misinformed about a lot of things. It's not easy to just put in HVAC. They absolutely will not be able to do this all themselves. We actually did do something like this ourselves. You haven't even thought of the finer details like you need to have MANY MANY specialist tools to do the work. That stuff isn't free. Even renting some equipment is very expensive. These 2 twits simply COULDN'T AFFORD IT. It's simple. And they won't have money in the future. NOLAN WILL NEVER GET THAT FITFTH ROOM. Don't be as stupid as her and think that it's even possible, because clearly it's not.

Did you not read my post. I said that after the mechanicals like hvac and plumbing are done by the professionals he could hang the drywall. Hanging drywall is not that hard. I never said they could do the hvac and plumbing themselves.

I could see that happening. She could probably get people to donate. I don’t think she will still be doing YouTube though by the time it needs done.

That would be so incredibly pathetic, she should build it with her own money. She wanted a big fancy house she can pay for it her damn self. There’s so many ppl that don’t even have a home period or food to eat, if she does that I will deff rip her a new one all over social media

Why do people think it's even possible to do this? It's not. You can't just put your disabled kid in a home and walk away. There are no institutions like that, and if there are, they'd cost thousands of dollars a month like old age facilities do. There are no free care homes in the US.
It totally is a thing and more common than you would think. Not hard to do either. I've worked in a company like this. You can put your disabled child in a home while still keeping guardianship of them. It does cost a lot but if he gets Medicaid, it will cover the cost entirely.

Personally I don’t see her setting 20k to 30k grand aside for his room. She complained about how hard it was to save 9k for the down payment. She probably won’t do it then the day will come and she won’t have the money. She better pray her channel doesn’t tank because they can’t afford this house on franks salary. Not to mention if she thinks Nolan’s medical expenses are high now just wait until he needs stuff like a chair or a stair Lift. Those stair lifts are expensive.

I wonder if having those two flights of stairs with the landing can even accommodate a lift.

This might be a silly question but would he be eligible for Medicaid and is there income requirements? Or would Britney have to pay it back if Nolan passed?

It took her this long to say that was her plan all along bc she just now came up with the made up reason. She has no intentions of staying in the house long enough to need to modify it. She plans on being a million plus subscriber youtube family before then and moving into a newer and better place. She is saying that plan now bc we put the idea out there and it was the best excuse available to her other than: "We plan on putting nolan into the master bedroom and we will turn the flex room into our bedroom so we can be close in case he needs help. The modifications to the master bathroom would be easy and quickly do and easy to save for. But that would actually require her to both think and care before she acts and that is clearly asking way too much of her.

I am wondering just how broke she is with the way she is pumping out kinda mediocre videos. They probably expected to be having much higher views by now and are probably panicking just a little bit. You would think they would be actually doing stuff worth watching if they truly are planning on making it as a bigger YouTube family. Why aren't they coming up with stuff like backyard campouts or silly challenges and stuff that actually brings new viewers that don't know how much of a hot mess they really are? How long until you think they come up with a petname for their "fan base family" and merch related to it? I mean fake it until you make it, right? Lol.

She’s too lazy to do all that family channel stuff.

The channels my kids watch really go all out. You can tell it’s a full time job and a lot of effort is put into their content.

They would have to be broke for Nolan to qualify for Medicaid. They count income, savings, cars......they won't qualify.

Sure, she can put him in a home, but she will have to private pay until she has no money left, and then the state will step in.

That's not always true with disabilities, especially o children who require expensive medical care (Nolan's medical care is and will be very expensive for the rest of his life).

I think he would qualify for Medicaid. If a child has a disability I don’t believe they count income.

I have a friend who has a disabled child and he gets Medicaid. Both parents work and own a home and other assets.

Plus we don’t know what Ean makes or owns. He could easily qualify if Ean doesn’t make money and if they claim Ean is his sole provider. My cousin did this for her college grants and things. Her dad made way too much money to qualify so they only claimed her mother (who made minimum wage) was her sole provider even though both parents lived together and were common law. My great grandmother was on Medicaid and when she got to the point she went to a home all her kids split up her assets so that Medicaid wouldn’t take her home, car, land, and all her money. Brittany could lose that new shiny house quick if he had to go on Medicaid.
