Where are C&K if it isn’t the beach? They’ve spent the last few days at the pool somewhere.

To add to FI’s post from the last thread, I agree that something big had to have happened, but it can’t just be Cullen or I’m sure Katie’s family would still be around at least her. I could definitely see Cullen staying home to “work” while Katie heads on the usual trip with the kids.

I definitely agree that the closest we’ll ever come to the true story is the one Cullen originally told on the podcast.

going by the pool day at ^ ^^^ place last week its clear JKtoday and C&K are hardly talking and that something happened between them
as the only time there together lately is when Granddoc/Granddolly are there

It’ll be interesting if they go to the beach as much this summer as they have in years past. Might be they won’t be given free reign of the beach house anymore because of past activities.

In their Instastories, Gaines spent so much time at the pool, her toes were bleeding. Wouldn't you have your child stop swimming at this point? They wrapped them up, but still...
I'm not a parent, but an aunt, and unfamiliar with "pool toe."
On a happier note, Cullen is teaching her to dive. She's growing up so fast.

I’m really confused about this. I swam a lot as a kid. I was on a swim team and my mom has a pool with gravel on the bottom. I’ve never experienced this “pool toe.” Like the OP said, wouldn’t you just get your kid out of the pool, tell them to take a break, have a snack, get dried off in the sun for a bit? Seems irresponsible to just let it continue. By her instagram post it sounds like almost all of the Gaines’ toes were bleeding plus two fingers. That could open her up to infection in a public pool (chlorine plus fungus/athletes foot.) Plus her blood is just leaking all over the pool and deck. Katie is wondering if she’ll get calluses by continuing to swim. So they’re just gonna go to the pool everyday. What?!

My kids toes would do that the first few days of swimming. Then I guess they feet did callous enough. Did not know there was a name for that either.

I just watched Kelley and Jays Memorial Day beach vlog, and there was zero mention of Cullen and Katie or the kids! Grandolly and grandoc were there, and not a word was said about CK not being there. Shit definitely went down....

I spent many hours swimming and I remember the pool bottom being rough on my feet and a few times I bumped my toes on the bottom and got hurt. They should get swim Sox

I noticed the Emily and Bennett where both at C&K's place then Cullen and Britney where filming this week podcast with legendary shots

At the beach, Emily and Bennett looked absolutely bored! Kelley asks the stupidest questions, and i can't stand her nasally "ohhhh" after her sentences. Drives me nuts. I agree, this family is broken. Cullen and Katie really need to straighten themselves out, but Kelley seems to be the "goodie two shoes" of the family. She gives off the impression that she was a big tattle tale and needed to be Grandollys favorite.

It was weird watching Kelley's video at the beach without Cullen & Katie there. I think the last beach trip was uncomfortable for all of them, so Cullen & Katie wanted to avoid being around them for the long weekend. They haven't posted on YT since last week, so maybe they traveled somewhere else??

If you are not getting along with family, being stuck in a relatively small living space with them (and no place to escape to) would be miserable.

It is weird to see these YT families/friendships fall apart. The Butlers are definitely NOT getting along. Casey and Shay haven't been speaking for YEARS. And they all do vacations separately and not as a family anymore—they don't even celebrate holidays or birthdays together anymore. It's sad.

I am sure this situation is different, but Katie and Kelley were together all the time and POOF, they aren't together at all unless it's a big family event. You don't move literally next door to your sister unless you are close.

I also think the Lannings have cut them out of their life. Didn't M&B make a big deal about YT "friends" who used them and they are no longer friends?? I know part of that referred to Corbin and Kelsey, but I could see them cutting out Cullen and Katie too.

What do we think happened between them?

Perhaps they put the Jk kids in a dangerous situation? drink driving, drugs in the house while they were staying over? Or have Jay and Kelley just had enough of their shit? I think J&K probably didn't realise the half of what was going on until after they moved next door and until recently they were trying to help them and be supportive. My guess is that is has fallen on deaf ears and the problems have gotten worse and J&K are just done with it. I do genuinely think Katie's family did not know the full extent of what was happening until after the house move and unlike what people have said before I don't think Jay and Kelley participated in drug taking.
