I dunno. I always have a hard time buying for my teenage son, and I've known him his whole life. His likes and dislikes are very specific. And as much as I try to understand them I really don't. Plus he never asks for anything, even when asked directly if there is anything he wants. Some people are just awkward to buy for.

My husband is the kind of guy who will just buy something if he wants it. Usually there’s some games coming out around his birthday, but he wants to buy them the moment they’re released so he’s not behind his friends (yes, he’s a 31yr old man who has most of his friends on his gaming server, never met any of them in person.) I bought him a nice gaming chair for Christmas a few years ago but, I ALWAYS have a hard time thinking of gifts for him and he almost never has an answer if I ask what he wants.

Chris and Jess have money (for now) so I would be surprised if he’s the same way. Just like Jess when she kept posting herself singing “I want it, I bought it.”

I think Jess is just really lost on what to buy for anyone. She got Caden chutes & ladders (or was it candyland) for Christmas and that was after she had the games and could have sat down and actually sorted them out by what each kid would like or more age appropriate. Her Christmas for the kids shows that she has no clue.

Jess could have done something that wasn't bought or just an act of kindness in his honor. And I don't mean sex since they supposedly have it 6 times a day, kidding. Even planning a day that he would enjoy, etc. Another missed opportunity to show she is not all about herself.

Does Chris still do paintball? I feel like the last time he did it was when she had that vlog where he was gone all day and she was not happy about it.
