When YT Moms Receive Gifts...

I've seen this being discussed a couple of times, but what are your thoughts and opinions when it comes to YT moms asking or getting gifts? Have any if you guys ever sent a YT mom something? What's one of the craziest things you have seen a YT mom receive or ask for?

I feel like unless it's clothing for the baby, it probably won't be used. I wouldn't send anything to a YT mom unless I had some sort of friendship with them. The PO Boxes are really just excuses to send gifts. They serve no other purpose. A gift is supposed to be something personal that you offer to someone to show you care about them, and it's weird to send things to someone you don't even know. Kind of like sending a gift or a letter to a celebrity. They probably won't respond and will just throw it away.

I think for a YouTube mom asking, or receiving gifts from people they will never know or meet. Shows how really rude aYouTube mom is. I agree less you know them personally,that's different. These are girls wanna be important to the world thinking they got pregnant at 16 its so hard boowoo! Really being a mom at any age is hard. Most them act as if they are YouTube show stars. They have it in their heads promoting themselves and their babies over YouTube going to make them famous. Really kids grow up so does the viewers. There are few I like & most of them need parenting classes. Watching is one thing sending gifts draws a huge line.

I think it's fine to an extent. I've seen YT mommies be ignorant about what someone sends. Like Missy from daily bumps one time, made a weird face and a snarky comment over someone sending Oliver a toy he was too young for.

But most of these mommy's can afford their own stuff *Saccone-Joly's/Anna Saccone* and really shouldn't take advantage of their viewers.

I wouldn't mind sending a Mama I really liked a gift, or perhaps one who looks like they could use some.

I was watching an old daily bumps video and someone sent them a few onesies with art printed on them. Missy was making a face like, "These are ugly" and didn't seem to like them.
Like someone said, they would send things for a mom in need, but what about Taylers situation? Clearly she's broke and it seems like she doesn't have a single thing for Anberlin yet has a MacBook, expensive Canon camera, and other electronics?

I think it's very wrong of them to ask for hand outs and need to stop making videos and get off their lazy asses! They should have gotten a PO box in the 1st place

I remember Tayler made a video accepting things from her viewers'. She didn't even seem pleased with what they sent her. Maybe because it wasn't high class or expensive. However, if a viewer sent me a hand drawn photo, I would love it more than some high dollar material thing. But, that's just me.

I think it's crazy when viewers send snacks or candy! I know Tayler made a video thanking someone for sending junk food and candy to the kids. Really? You're going to give your kids food from a stranger on the Internet?

I don't really like it. Most of this moms make more than enough money to support and get things for their own kids.
Most of these moms need to sell their personal things like cameras and laptops if they need extra things or money for their family.
We had to sell tons of things multiple times to get something that we thought we would have enough for.
Now if I had a close relationship with a YT mom (which I do have a few) I would send them something that I think they would like or could use for the kids.

If they acknowledge all gifts on camera, fine but I don't believe in asking for them flat out and sharing your registry with all of YT. I found a mom who wasn't even that popular linking her registry since the first PG announcement. Tacky. I think AnastasiaRuby handled it well. She got a PO box due to popular demand but just asked for letters for Juliette's time capsule. In the end, people of course sent gifts but she was gracious. Lindsey and Jess go about it the wrong way.

What I find stupid is when they put their actual address instead of a PO box then wonder why they could get stalked.

I remember Nikole from AleiasTeenMama received a camera after she told her fb her camera shat itself and would be saving up to get a new one but it would be awhile. She was very gracious when someone nice enough sent her one that was cheap yet good condition so she could continue.

I think putting your baby registry is going way too far. Do you not have any family or friends that you have to ask strangers on the Internet for things?
Jess had 2 registries when she was pregnant with the twins, one at Target and the other at Babies R Us. She had over $10,000 worth of items on her list including about a few different types of strollers (single, double etc). I understand she was having twins but she was asking for twice the items such as 2 diaper changing tables, 2 high chairs, 2 bouncers, 2 breastpumps etc.

It doesn't bother me. People choose whether or not to send these people gifts. Unless I had a friendship with them other than being a subscriber, like we private messaged often and whatnot, then I would not send anyone gifts. I don't see the point really, unless you have a lot of money to throw away lol.
