After awhile is no one is posting after x amount of days someone can start a new one. Just add **New Story** and space a bit then write your sentence.

After this post the next person can start the story (I'm not starting it).

Once upon a time there lived a girl in a tree house...

She had no friends and had decided to try and befriend a one eye squirrel named Winky...

Winky had accepted her friendship and introduced her to his family...

The squirrel family all started singing when they saw her.

But they then revolted and threw their acorns at her.

She ran as fast as she could through the woods and ended up at a little cottage.

As she checked the locks on the cottage's front door, she began to smell something familiar...

[strawberries]

A scent strongly reminiscent of her childhood; the gingersnaps her grandmother would bake prior to the accident.

That horrible accident, the one where her grandma lost her right pinky finger.

She found a window and peered inside.

But it was no use as the curtains were closed, so she..

Started to check all the windows and doors...

Aha! She jiggled the latch to a little door on the other side of the cottage. Alas the opening was a third her size. How could this possibly help?
