I think a tablet is a good idea in moderation. My son is currently playing with his leap pad while I nurse my youngest to sleep. Once he's out we'll do something together.

My 4 year old niece has a tablet but she only has educational games and can only use it for a limited time.
In Taylers case, like someone said, it's probably filled with hello kitty games or the same apps Chuckie has on his iPad.
They probably got that for Alesana so she can be distracted while Tayler takes care of Anberlin.

I don't think it's a horrible thing for a 2 year old to play with a tablet. My 2 year old has games and movies to watch on my iPad mini, and if we're parked waiting for her sisters to get out of school or activities I will hand it to her so that she has something to do. It's a nice distraction. However, if I couldn't even afford essential baby items I wouldn't be blowing money on a tablet. That's a luxury, IMO.

I don't have a problem with 2 year olds playing with tablets, my 2 year old plays my iPad he has a ton of educational games on there that he loves. But if you can't afford basic baby essentials and are always asking for hand outs than no a 2 year old should not be getting a tablet

Even if it was a gift from a family member that just shows that tayler and chuckie a inability to prioritize stems from their families. Their family knows they're struggling so why would they buy a tablet when they couldn't bought clothes or diapers or some sort of essentials? I get that it could distract Alesana while tayler cares for anberlin but so could a $10 toy or something cheaper than a tablet. Honestly their whole families a joke if that's what they bought them during a time when moneys tight

Now we know where Tayler gets her terrible spending habits from, her family sees her struggling and with that money they could of gotten something for all three babies. Tayler has had a habit of spending money right away, obviously she's no Lindsay or Vanessa, but when Chuckie got his taxes, she went in a shopping spree to Hot Topic, got her camera, iMac, and wedding ring set. What did the kids get? A couple of shirts from Walmart.
What a coincidence that she got tom shoes the day after Jakobys birthday party.

That's what I hate about low income people getting more back than they paid in. If you take that money and truly use it to better yourself in life, then good for you. Use it to start a rainy day fund, for when you fall on hard times. Maybe then you won't be struggling to buy diapers. That's what it's for. Not trips to Disney, big screen TVs and other useless junk.

That money doesn't just fall from the sky. It comes from hard working people.

Tayler grew up without money (I'm assuming) so she was never able to get all the luxuries she wanted, so now whenever she has an extra penny in her pocket, she blows it on something she wants. She won't save it because doesn't want too. I remember being legit pissed that she went out and bought a MacBook Pro for herself when Chuckie's tax money came in because those computers are at minimum, $1,200. Imagine all the stuff she could've bought for her kids and saved for when Anberlin was born. Parents are supposed to put their children first, but Taylor puts Taylor first. I wish that 3 kids would've matured her a little. Maybe the next 3 will!

We got our two year old a leap pad for his birthday when he turned two. He loves it. He usually uses it while I make breakfast. Than on and off when ever. It doesn't last long. He plays the songs on it mostly and likes to dance. He's learned his alphabet from it. This one app would say each letter and he would repeat them. That's pretty cool. We also had enough income at the time to spend on a gift for him like that. Almost a year later (he'll be 3 in April). He still loves to play it.

Her latest YT video about breastfeeding was 27seconds. No wonder she's not getting any money in.

Jakoby 12-18 months! vid there's a clip of Jakoby and Chuckie playing and it's absolutely adorable. Chuckie may be many ways crap, but at least he is giving Jakoby the attention he deserves.

Wonder what they'll blow all of their money on this year since they have an extra EIC from Anberlin. Maybe she could be smart and buy her kids things they need, and stock up on diapers,wipes,etc. Maybe she'll be able to hang on to some of it and give Alesana and Jakoby decent birthday parties with half ass doing it because she waited until the last minute. Or because all Jakoby likes is "mud and bugs" WHICH BY THE WAY HE WOULD HAVE TO SPEND TIME OUTSIDE TO LIKE. I did find the EAT ME cake quite hilarious however.

I really hope she doesn't use that same crappy venue that she uses for every single party event she had. A&J's birthday are in the spring and summer, she should have them at a park instead of that place. Or at her moms house, either way only like 10 people will show up.

Ehh the idea of giving a gift is buying someone something nice that you want them to have, I see no issue with giving the kids a pricey gift.. yes Tayler is struggling but that is her problem seems like her family helps quite a bit and when they do we say they are enabling -__-

the gift has nothing to do with Tayler or Chuckie or their financial problems it is simply a gift for Alessana, something they wanted her to have plus they help Tayler all the time with different things she or the kids need clothes,bills etc I am glad the kids had a nice Christmas and I think the gift is awesome I hope she is using educational apps/programs with it

I guess I won't think too much into the tablet. I saw that Jakoby got a fake vacuum cleaner.... Which im assuming is so that he can "vacuum" bugs and mud since you know that's all he likes.
