Ashley and Tyson Gardner have a YouTube page as well as Facebook and Instagram. They tried for 8 years to get pregnant and finally saved enough for IVF. The doctor implanted 2 embryos and each one split into identical twins. So they are having quadruplet girls. ( two sets of identical twins girls) They seem like a very sweet couple. She's 24 weeks pregnant now and they just announced the names;

Oh God, I'm such a sucker for watching women pregnant with multiples. How on earth will she cope with 4 babies?

Dang...four? Well I suppose that's better than what some women have ended up with (Kate Gosselin, anyone?). I think they can stay down to earth if they don't let YouTube or the media get too caught up with them and I don't think the media will pay much attentiton to them. Four babies seems like a lot, but given the sextuplets to octuplets craze...not many will bat an eye. Though I wish them luck.

This is the problem with implanting multiple embryos. Yeah, sure....when you're struggling with fertility, the thought of twins isn't really that big a deal. Great, 2 for the price of 1!! Then this happens.
In Australia, it's actually illegal to implant more than one embryo if the woman is under a certain age. I think it's 35 but I could be wrong on that. When I was a kid, it was really exciting and unusual to meet a pair of twins. Nowadays, every second pram you pass seems to be twins and there's like 4 sets of triplets at my son's school.
When we were ttc-ing for our first, my doctor offered me clomid to help regulate ovulation. He warned that it could lead to an increased risk of multiples. I was really tempted. The thought of twins was really exciting to me. My husband said "No."

I really like them, i think they are going to be good parents, they are stable and at an appropriate age, not saying age matters but it helps especially with four babies. They babies are getting stronger and some are doing great on bottle feeding, they are in nursery B so hopefully home soon. I wonder who the TLC show will look like going to be one fun ride.
