I asked her how old she was and she said I am 3 and raised three fingers correctly, when she came to know my friend's daughter was 2, she proudly said"oh! I am older than her." I don't think the quads understand that concept at 4.5 yrs.
the girls are so behind in everything. If the parents were home more than may be the girls would be different
I don’t think that would make any difference. These parents don’t have the intelligence to communicate with these children in an appropriate way. They have no concept of encouraging individuality or nurturing their unique talents and abilities.
They clearly preferred the baby stage, where the girls had no autonomy and want to encourage them to stay that way as long as possible.
Their “product” was two sets of identical little, baby girls. Just like puppies abs kittens however, they don’t stay cute little babies for long. They don’t know what to do with actual living and breathing children, who have thoughts and feelings and needs and likes. This such a fantastic age in a child’s life. Their little personalities are starting to really shine through. They are, or should be, like little sponges soaking up everything around them - noticing things, asking questions, developing opinions, ambitions, hopes, desires.
If only Ashley and Tyson could actually see that these years are the cutest and funniest; among the most enjoyable. Repeating baby talk isn’t endearing, talking to your children at this age and finding out who they really are is. Each stage passes and moves on and you have to go with it. I loved the age the girls are at.
The Gardners don’t, because every year that passes means they are closer to their dream world imploding, and it’s their children that suffer Image

Couldn't agree more. 4 year old girls are supposed to be inquisitive. I have never seen them ask questions, granted we're not with them 24x7 but knowing those two, if the girls said anything remotely interesting they'd record it. Do those kids ask questions like why do we see moon only at night ? What is snow? Why are there clouds in the sky ? That's the age when kids notice nature and their ambience and wonder . I have some hope from the vegetable patch they say they're planning this summer. Maybe girls will enjoy that activity and start getting inquisitive when they see the plants grow, bear fruits , vegetables etc.

I think he is referring to possibly having babies maybe another way like adopting or donor eggs?

Also can we focus on how relatively normal he appears here and now he’s fake and full of himself? Yuk 🤢

Ashley's voice is so different now. I didn't mind listening to her in this.

Oh Polly I wasn't frightened. I've had lots of medical issues and I'm sure it would have been picked up at some stage. Though as I age, one side is slightly lower than the other now, it's only happened in the last couple of years. I even asked the doc if I had Bells Palsey. She said nah, you're just getting old. lol. It's all good. No chance in the world I would go near that Seneshit lipshit. :D

The girls annoy me at times but deep down I feel so much for them. They have the chance for every opportunity in life but they are just dolls for mummy to dress up and to hell with their personal development. I think that's what I loved most about having kids. Helping them develop their personalities and encouraging them to grow emotionally and mentally. These poor kids will never have that opportunity. I had great hopes for Nanny Ash but she's been a bit of a disappointment too. I don't know if anyone else picked up the other day when they went to the library, they were reading board books for 1 year olds. So sad.

This is about the time I followed them. I stopped when they were about two. She changed and so did he.

I totally agree. I have achieved pretty much what i want in life with education, jobs etc but my greatest achievement has hands down been my children. I was a sahm much to the shock of all my work colleagues haha and luckily we were able to afford for me not to work. I put everything into teaching and nurturing the children (just like all of you have i'm sure) and making them into decent members of society. We could take them anywhere and not be embarrassed by their behaviour. Were they angels, hell no but they knew where the line was and not to step over it. They are all now at decent universities and i couldn't be more proud. I hope this doesn't come across as boasting or anything i'm just saying it to show how sad it is that the Gardners will never feel this sense of pride and achievement.

If it hadn't been for logogate, I think Faddy would have been on lie all weekend shoving Minky's down everyone's throat. Finally, something put a clamp on these big mouth's mouths.

They've been very quiet on social media today. I wonder if they're in hiding.
Ive followed the girls speech issues very closely as I have a daughter who has apraxia and had been having speech therapy for over 2 years. She is also bilingual and speech therapy has done wonders. Those 4 really need some help and encouraging them to use baby words is really hindering their progress. Their speech hasn't even improved by them going to school. It's really sad, what kind of future are they setting up for them.

In my linguistics studies I learned it’s normal for kids learning any language for the first time to mispronounce words, tenses and stumble. Some of it is developmentally correct. Some of it is mouth structure (that changes & strengthens as they grow) and some is what happens when we learn language: we mispronounce, at any age, when learning.

What’s not right is their refusal for correction. This is why experts say do not speak baby talk to your babies. But yet, here they are... doing it 🙄

It's also the 'ing' on the end of words when not needed. Like 'lets running' etc. All children make mistakes but when they are encouraging these mistakes and not correcting them it's making it worse. A child learns by example, and they are learning to be screaming hyenas what can barely form a sentence. I'm sure with the right encouragement and help they could be very smart little girls. Indie and Esme in particular... Well until all the serious bangs to the head started happening.

This does not come across as boasting. This is coming from a parent who is extremely proud of their children and has every right to be. Good job mom!!

An unimportant question:
When you log into this forum and on to the GQS threads it will show a star rating for each thread. I think this is a 1-1/2 star rating. What drives this star rating? It just seems we are so active here and I would think the star rating would be higher?
It doesn't really matter; I've just been curious about that since the upgrade.
