I'm not one of those parents that runs to the doctor for every little thing. But her excuses are crap.

If it was the other doctor in the office thing why not have Khoa take him? Or take him to urgent care. Or gasp a CVS minute clinic (aren't they owned by Target now - Keren's favorite place). Most nurses do strep tests anyway and she probably wouldn't have seen the Dr for 10 minutes. So again her "I don't like the Dr excuse is invalid". I have a child with medical issues, with many specialists and there have been several I don't agree with or treated me like crap but I want my child to be ok and put it aside. I dealt with it later with a complaint.

And the money thing is NO excuse at all. She just got back from taking her bridesmaids on a cruise, $7000 for tickets for their honeymoon, 200,000 car, Khoas going to Mexico soon and those costs, Nonie lives with them for free and im sure she could borrow $100 from her mom (she's went and got her debit before when she forgot hers).

This is correct. The excuses are stupid.

Chloe, you have NO clue about children and fevers. Having a niece and a nephew does not qualify you to be the know all!! Landon was obviously in a lot of pain, he was asking for the doctor and pointing to his throat, regardless of their immune system.....he needs to be seen!!!!

That doesn’t matter. I do know you don’t run your kid into a doctor for every little fever or sickness. Antibiotics don’t even get prescribed for a virus. Like I said if she thought it was strept that is a different story. She wouldn’t know strept though if it was right in front of her.

Whatever Chloe........It doesn’t matter what Kernal thinks it is, she’s not the sharpest tool in ANYBODY’S shed, she thinks Landon has been teething while in her womb, she thinks the reason her boys have a flat head (besides Pete) is because of their “Personality” and has nothing to do with them laying flat the first 6 months of life.

Just wanna throw this out there... just because a child is sick on a weekend doesnt mean they shouldnt be seen. There are many other options besides the ER however if my kid is sick and uncomfortable and ER were the only thing open then hell yes i will take them to the ER, especially if I expect strep. Keren had other options besides ER. She had another Doctor at her practice OR urgant care. There are many urgant carea in their area.

Did she say she was waiting until Monday to take him? I would to unless it was a big emergency. Those minute clinics are terrible. That isn’t something you go to the ER for. Anyway it’s sick she had to bring up paying but I would wait until Monday also. Kids get sick there isn’t much a doctor can do unless a fever is just not going down.

She said the fever didn’t go down..it barely went down and got back up and that was the whole entire night and as it seems the morning and troughout the day. That’s a reason to go to a doctor even if you have to pay.

You do realize it was the weekend. No you don’t have to take a kid to the doctor for a fever that has only lasted 24 hrs. These kids eat like crap and don’t go anywhere. There immune systems are crap.

Even if they waited till Monday, what option would idiot have if her “favorite” pediatrician was booked or...gasp, on vacation?? Their only option would be to go to Urgent Care. I’m still irritated at the ignorant comment of Urgent Care being subpar bc that couldn’t be further from the truth. I mean, the name describes it perfectly, URGENT care. It just a place to go if you can’t get into your primary care physician. It’s not like some back alley place!

I know this isn’t necessary but I want people to understand how dumb it was for them to not even attempt to get Landon checked out. Even if they went in, got a strep test and it came back negative, would that not be worth a few hundred dollars? For peace of mind? Not to mention, Strep is extremely contagious and they have 2 other kids in the house, one who isn’t even a yr old yet! Could you imagine all 3 of them sick? It’s just so dumb! Btw, this wasn’t on a Sunday afternoon, it was Saturday and they want to wait till Monday. Not okay!

Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if they built a tolerance to Tylenol and Motrin since Skelator feeds them that shit like candy! There’s a reason they say “AS NEEDED” and not “administer every time you want to knock your kid out!”

Preach it!!!! I took my son to urgent care on a Sunday (omg the horror) a few months back when I thought he had an ear infection because his last one progressed VERY rapidly and I wanted to get ahead of it if I could. We have 2 urgent care locations in my area but both are closed for Sunday. So I drove a half hour away where they had one that was open on Sunday. Never been there before, wasn’t ideal, but I DID IT because when you suspect your child is sick you get them the care they need. He ended up having no ear problems and we then made a fun day out of the trip. Keren is gasping right now at the thought of urgent care and taking her Landon out for a fun day.

It’s unbelievable they didn’t take Landon in right away! What freaking parent hasn’t made many and some even unnecessary trips to the urgent care? These two are the worst. For Karen to bring up the insurance thing and that they would be paying out of pocket when they literally spend hundreds of dollars a week on fucking Starbucks! Get your head out of your ass and get your son some medical attention. My local urgent care is $50 walk in fee. Yes the strep swab ect are going to cost but they are looking at a few hundred bucks and some relief for their damn child.

Holy crap- actually watching the vlog made it so much worse. Landon seemed EXTREMELY sick, they said he hadn’t been able to sleep for basically 3 days and is seen virtually crying from pain/illness every time they show him.

Like someone said above, the way Keren talked about the “other” doctor available at their peds office makes me think this Dr. gave her parenting advice or criticism that she took personally and is now avoiding- “they weren’t good at their job” Keren says, about a doctor, while she keeps her super sick child at home for 3 days to avoid paying for an urgent care visit. Disgusting.

What sort of asshole doesn't take their kid to the doctor because they personally dislike them? I think whoever said it earlier could be right that it was the doctor who reported her to CPS. A normal mother would get their shit in check if a doctor saw cause for concern. I imagine the doctor has been highlighting stuff to her for a while with absolutely no change in her parenting, hence the report. What's most concerning is she's so blinded by blatant narcissism at this point, she doesn't even realise how badly she comes off for choosing her personal feelings over her son's health. A couple of years ago she never would have let the egotism shine the way she does now in the vlogs.

Just stop. My niece is a carrier for strept. Once she went off antibiotics it would come right back. She would get deathly ill with it. It was no fun. It was actually kind of scary since she was at my house several times with it since we watched her during the week.
