It’s the summer. Lots of kids out of school binge watching. They’ll likely dip again in the fall.

Good because I was loving when their videos were barely getting 100k views after a day or more lol

Heard Bryan sing on Insta.
So bad. It must take forever to auto tune his voice for his album. I wonder if he'd even listen if someone was honest and told him how truly rubbish he is.

This is a bit OT but I was watching Hannah Williams on buzzfeed and she does a series with her two boys. I don't have kids myself so I don't know usual development and where a child should be in their education but her youngest boy is a year younger than ollie (he just turned 5 I believe) and seems to be able to spell, write and starting to read sentences with 2 full time working parents. Is ollie really that behind?? We haven't seen a lot of those skills from him. Is it because he went to transitional kindergarten??

He’s behind because his parents never even tried to each him anything, didn’t hire anyone else to do it, and couldn’t even be bothered to turn on educational videos even though he has spent half his life watching YT Kids.

Very interesting comment from their assistant, Dallas and the answer. I always get the feeling that he’s making fun of the Lannings, yet just skirts calling them out because he knows who pays his salary.

That whole crew is doing that. Especially Brooke and her backstabbing bullshit. Can’t wait until all of them are thrown out on their asses - LUMPS included.

So that's "showing up for" himself? Making sure he gets Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
And a "moment of clarity about who I am and where I belong in life"? Maybe at San Diego Pride instead of VidCon? We can only hope.
Biggest hope-- that he realized that where he belongs doesn't include in a recording studio or onstage singing...

Let’s break it down

Bryan is in his 20’s
Bryan is a YouTuber
Bryan has always wanted to do music and go big with his music career but nobody thinks he’s a good as he does

This is about Bryan. I mean I don’t know for sure because idk Dallas but it seems this is about Bryan of some sorts. Soo... why is Dallas pointing the finger when Bryan signs his checks?! Obviously people in their circle see how absolutely delusional the landings/Hollister’s are and can’t help but laugh at them. In a way it’s sad but also humorous that they are easily taken advantage of by just saying things like “wow Bryan, you sing so good” or “Daanng missy, your hair is on fleek”! Image

That’s exactly how I took it!!! I’ve only heard short clips of their podcast with Dallas and it really seems like he makes fun of them but they’re so desperate for “friends” that they don’t realize it.

Even Ellie who in my opinion is a horrible parent, has taught Calvin and Jackson quite a bit. Jackson is a bit younger than Ollie and reads at early reader level. Ellie is one of the most self absorbed people l have ever seen...she has put in effort. Missy underestimates where Ollie should be though. We homeschool our 3 kids...ITS A TON OF FRICKEN WORK! I hope and pray they don’t homeschool!

You make a good point, but preschool taught Jackson all that. He wouldn’t have even gone if she hadn’t had more babies and needed the break. Ellie has been surprised by everything Jackson has learned. She hasn’t taught it to him, and didn’t exactly expect him to learn so much.

I think the main difference between Jackson and Ollie is the mother’s involvement in school. Ellie drops Jackson off and stays out of things (even when she should be involved like parent’s day or bringing him something he forgot). Missy cannot help but interfere to undermine the school’s influence on Oliver. It’s also possible that Oliver has a few delays that make it harder for him to learn than Jackson, who seems surprisingly bright given his parents.

Ellie’s approach and involvement has its own negatives, but at least Jackson is still learning. I just wouldn’t give Ellie too much credit.

On their insta story last night or the night before Finn was talking. Bryan commented “great job at speaking buddy”
It seems as though they know Finn is behind but we haven’t seen them do anything. Of course that doesn’t mean they ARENT doin anything but I feel like if they were they would definitely brag about it. Same goes for Ollie. If they spent 30 minutes helping him on his reading each day they’d definitely brag about it but we’ve seen nothing

I think they're in denial about how behind their boys are. In one of their most recent vlogs, Bryan was talking about how Finn had "has his own language that only him and ollie can understand" and saying how cute it was. Your kid is almost FOUR Bryan that's not cute at all that no one can understand him! (Although Finn is adorable in every other aspect lol)

What the heck was she wearing? This came from a fans IG and Bryan reposted it...not flattering of her at all!!

So Bryan has talked to Karl and his producer about a new direction for his life and now he’s perfectly clear. ????? Maybe VidCon was an awakening to them that 1. His music isn’t going anywhere and it’s a money pit 2. YouTube is changing and they just aren’t as relevant (never were) anymore. 3 they were the only ones of their group that were there and it just wasn’t the same, 4. They’re getting old!

Is she wearing a cardigan UNDER a dress?? She loves those midi-length dresses and none of them ever look good on her. She’s just too short and stocky. That length only looks good on tall people.

My younger brother had trouble speaking when he was 3-4ish. Literally nobody could understand him except me and my other siblings. We always had to tell our parents what our little brother was saying. Looking back now maybe he was a little behind but now at 21 he talks fine and honestly is better spoken than most adults his age. I dont think it’s wrong if children have their own language. As long as they grow out of it by kindergarten I wouldn’t be concerned. Of course id notice it and keep an eye on it, but I wouldn’t freak out and throw him in 10 different speech classes. Especially if his pediatrician isn’t concerned. There’s a huge gap when it comes to everything child related. Your child doesn’t have speak exactly like another child their age. I also find it slightly amusing when people on here clearly have children who are advance in speech but act as if that’s normal. Get a grip! No child is the same!
