I've been thinking that too for a long time, that they didn't allow themselves more time to heal from losing Brynn. Having lost my daughter at 22 weeks, I couldn't have imagined trying again so soon but I understand the whole thing about people choosing when they're ready and how that may be different for everyone. But she even said they didn't deal with it properly, especially because Justin had to leave for deployment shortly after.Here_2_talk wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 12:33 pm I have a feeling that it’s not just plain stupid parenting that got Emma into this situation. It’s true, their parenting is lacking to say the least, however I can’t help but think that it all boils down to losing Brynn.
They haven’t dealt with her death the best way, jumped into the transfer with Emma too soon. The excitement wore off around 3-4 months after Emma was born, you can see it in Trashy’s eyes. She’s a wreck (depressed who knows) and unable to do simple tasks to provide a nurturing environment in which Emma could thrive.
Maybe I’m wrong, I guess if Emma is on the spectrum, than it’s nothing they could have done, but it’s still no excuse for the poor child being deprived of adequate attention.

As the mother of a late talker, I feel for her. I felt so much guilt going into speech therapy with my son. But the TV is bad, watching TV while eating instead of sitting together and talking is not good. My kids’ pediatrician said it best, the TV talks AT your child, not with your child. It might seem your toddler would pick up words from watching people on TV, but it’s not going to happen if the child isn’t directly involved.

Just look at those pathetic YT comments telling her not to worry about it.
One of the things dangerous about a speech delay is that the baby feels helpless and misunderstood without proper communication skills. This results in temper tantrums and other problematic behaviors. We can see that already when Emma was eating and Rash had 0 reaction to her screams. Sooner or later Emma will start acting out more and, without speech, Rash will have a hard time understanding her and will for sure blame Emma for being a problem child. And Justine doesn't even take this seriously, he is not "the voice of reason", he is in denial and irresponsible.
So it's not "just a speech delay", Rash. Its serious.

Re: Rachelle and Justin: Poisoned pets, debt and child neglect | Part 24
So if it's just a speech delay and Rash has been worried about it for a few months/weeks, why haven't they started teaching Emma sign language as a means of communicating? This is so helpful for kids her age, especially kids that can't quite talk to express their needs or emotions.
And Justin trying to justify Emma is normal by saying she has hit all other milestones is such a lie. We can see it just from the videos they put out. She does not show much enthusiasm, she doesn't engage with others or even her own parents, etc.
I 100% think this is due to environmental factors. They plop her in front of a tv, if she's not watching it then Rash and Justine have a show on for themselves. Rash always has her laptop, phone, or camera out. The only socialization Emma gets is a trip to Target. When I see Emma, aside from her walking, I truly think she operates as a 9 month old.
It's so sad because you have two stay at home parents with all of the time (and apparently money) in the world and they choose to spend it this way. What a waste. My heart goes out to Emma, that poor girl.

Aside from the speech, theres heaps on here that shes not doing or shows no interest in (or hasnt been given the opportunities to do).
Rachelle:
Puzzles
Paper and crayons
A dustpan set
Blocks
“Heads shoulders knees and toes” song
Any other repeating nursery rhymes (in an adult voice, not your normal whining voice)
Baby sign
Join a playgroup! One with kids similar same ages as emma.

Re: Rachelle and Justin: Poisoned pets, debt and child neglect | Part 24
The speech therapy will hopefully be a huge wake up call for Rash and Justine. I work with 0-3 year olds and I'm currently attending a class on speech. Today I'm being filmed for the second time, while interacting with a child. The teachers only focus is on me, not the child. The speech therapist is gonna do that with Rash and Justin too. It's gonna be about what they can change and improve about the way they talk to Emma.
When Rash talks to Emma, she doesn't shut up. She just rambles on. You need to give the child 10 seconds to respond or react. She asks 1000 questions. Questions are so bad when you're trying to teach a child to talk. And even with infants, it's not too early to learn communication skills by practicing turn taking. They haven't t been doing that at all.
I'm glad they're getting some help and I too suspect that there's an underlying issue with Emma. But even if there is, she could be so much more advanced if her parents had any idea what they were doing.

Wow pretty much the only thing Emma exhibits from this list is walking. That’s pretty sad, I feel so bad for Emma. They never play with her, never read to her (with the exception of this vlog), hardly chat with her, never eat with her....the list just goes on and on. Poor sweet little girl. I’d say these two should take a break from social media to really focus on Emma and family time but they have a mortgage to pay and are too lazy to get real jobs. Out of all the things wrong with today’s vlog and her parenting, the thing that infuriated me the most was Rachelle saying she misses family dinner because they don’t have a dining room table. So have they not eaten with Emma once since they moved? It doesn’t make any sense just fucking sit with her. Bring her high chair up closer to the island maybe? I don’t even have kids yet and I cannot imagine not eating with them just because I don’t have a table to sit at. As long as Emma’s in her high chair she can eat anywhere so they should sure as hell be able to SIT???? Next to her?? They sound so pathetic.

And why did they get rid of their old table so quickly?? Not aesthetically pleasing enough??opangatay wrote:Out of all the things wrong with today’s vlog and her parenting, the thing that infuriated me the most was Rachelle saying she misses family dinner because they don’t have a dining room table. Our first home was tiny, we didnt have a dining room table, but had a breakfast bar overhang on our kitchen bench and had barstools and the kids high chair pulled up to it. We all sat and ate together still.

Yeah the dining table thing is so stupid. They didn't need to get rid of the old one, unless they were too lazy to move it to the new place. In which case they still should've been prepared to buy a new one. You can get perfectly nice dining tables second hand, if they're hurting for money, but in that case they should've have bought that fucking couch. Rachelle wanted the same dining table shane Dawson has lmao... For fuck sake girl. And if she can't get that one, she'd rather have nothing I guess? Ok dude. Pull your kids high chair up to the bench and sit on a bar stool while you guys eat together. It's not hard.
I don't get her. She wanted to be a mother SO badly, they spent all this money, they're still so young, now they're up shit creek with the twins... But she wanted to be a mum more than anything and now she doesn't want to have to actually parent? What kind of fucked up backwards shit is that?

I don’t have a table(yet!). I stand next to the counter and use that as a table, while my child is next to me in their high chair. I sit on a stool two feet away from my child in their high chair. I put the high chair by my bed or the couch and sit next to my child. We eat together. There’s always a way. No table is a crappy excuse.opangatay wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 9:46 pm Out of all the things wrong with today’s vlog and her parenting, the thing that infuriated me the most was Rachelle saying she misses family dinner because they don’t have a dining room table. Omg! Almost every single comment on her video is about how their children didn’t talk in TIL 3/4/5 and they were just fine... I’m sorry?! Your child doesn’t talk and you think that’s fine?! And you won’t bother with speech therapy?! What the hell?! Are all her followers idiot parents?! I know they are trying to make their idol () feel better, but I have to say all it does is reflect badly on them and show quite a bit of their parental neglect.
Your child needs help, that’s all, Trashy. Go get her help, and try and make your peace with it.

Re: Rachelle and Justin: Poisoned pets, debt and child neglect | Part 24
I came on here to say something about that too! I felt so sad for poor Emma being totally ignored like that, just shoved in the corner whilst her mum chatted to a camera! Did she have to do that debrief right then and there? Couldn’t it have waited until Emma was napping or something? Poor kid! And if it absolutely couldn’t have waited why couldn’t Justin have been interacting with her? It’s like “ok she’s strapped in a high chair and has cartoons on the tv and food to entertain her we can just ignore her for a bit”Tina9900 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 1:43 pm You can see how much they ignore her just in this vlog alone. Emma wants attention from her parents. Just because she’s eating doesn’t mean you should just leave her in the corner and ignore her. That’s why she was whining she wanted someone to sit by her and talk to her. Rachelle needs to put the camera down and spend time with Emma! It’s only going to get worse once the twins come. Poor Emma is just a forgotten toy.

How on earth are they going to cope when the twins come along? Poor Emma will get even less attention!

We decided to stay in our tiny ass one bedroom apartment while I was pregnant. Our living room/kitchen area is also our office. My daughters high chair is on the linoleum and we hold our plates while we sit in our computer chairs. We turn and face her while we all eat so she can interact with us.. It's literally not hard at all...
Now that she is on the essential oils bandwagon, we will see Emma get diagnosed with autism in the next 6-12 months and trash will blame vaccines for it. Anyone want to take this bet?

Well vaccines are loaded with a lot of chemicals. Not to mention giving a child multiple shots at once? Ya great idea! I was personally thinking of all those drugs her IVF clinic was pushing on her.LisaLulu22 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 5:37 am We decided to stay in our tiny ass one bedroom apartment while I was pregnant. And why wasn’t justine in the chat about Emma? What the hell was he doing? Obviously not interacting with his baby that they longed to have!
And Emma only had oranges for lunch? After that cake pop and milk (gag).
Poor nutrition, delayed speech, delayed cognitive abilities. Hmmmm.
Trashys you are BAD parents. And should have mommy and daddy guilt!

Yes! The cake pop if you want to treat a toddler, take them to a nice playground, not Starbucks. Great way to ruin her new molarsDani_465 wrote:And why wasn’t justine in the chat about Emma? What the hell was he doing? Obviously not interacting with his baby that they longed to have!
