How much are you paying for gas in South Florida right now? It's $2.96 here and no one drives an EV. How long will it take Daniel to justify buying a Tesla? It feels like such an ego move. He could have bought a good used hybrid for under $12K.

There are no master minds among the Riches. They have a history of blundering their way through everything. The slow moving train wreck quality is what keeps adult watching. When they lie it's usually used as obvious click bait or some kind of MLM-esque ego pump.

I wonder if he cheated with someone in their neighborhood. If he's home "editing" or "working in the clubhouse" and Kendal is out shopping, filming or busing the kids around all day, then he has the perfect opportunity. Plus it might explain why they were in such a hurry to get their house back on the market. Also might explain how Kendal got these people's contact info if there's a neighborhood directory or something. Do you think they found anything on the porch camera?
Good point about It being someone in the neighbourhood. Would also explain why they were so desperate to sell that they willingly reduced the price by 200k. I remember they said they were holding steady at their asking price because that’s what they wanted. And suddenly now they just dropped their expectations.
No word from Daytona and how the cheer competitions went. I’ve looked online but the results aren’t available. I wonder if they left Hampton at home with Daniel’s parents or he went along to watch. The spectator tickets were mega expensive. If I remember correctly, 50ish for an adult and 20+ for a child. We know two adults went and at least Sebi. That means they would have shelled out over 200 usd to watch two days of competition. That’s shocking!
Well Sebi competes now, so they’d only have to pay for the adults and Hampton to watch. But that’s still expensive! As for the shoes.. if I was their coach I would be saying something to them. It looks disgusting. And it can’t be good for their feet either.

I’m not familiar with how to post here. I saw some posts from a few months ago mentioning her daughter learning how to drive without a permit. I may be late to the party so please ignore this if she has since received hers.

I have a close friend who lives close to them. As in within a few streets. It is NOT allowed and their HOA, along with everyone else I know who lives there, would not be ok with them allowing this. A lot of people still walk, jog, and utilize the sidewalks. It jeopardizes the safety of everyone and is wreckless behavior. Her daughter doesn’t have the reflexes, or knowledge to drive on an open roadway. She could easily veer off the road and hit a person, or even drive into a house. I’m extremely alarmed to see this happening. I’m not impressed with this family at all. I am probably going to file a report on this as I feel it should be.

Funny that Daniel thinks he can just pray, repent, and after a year of therapy life will be normal again.

I simply do not understand the obsession with private lessons when they constantly get results like this.

Blindsighted by the money she spends on cheer.
The judges obviously don’t have the same opinion as Mrs Rich.

Is it a cheer thing that all the mothers dress in club gear too? I mean…is that normal for all cheer teams?

Yep- a lot of cheer parents do dress like that! It's like a whole culture in and of itself.

I suspect that Kendall is having a hard time with all of these losses. I mean she kept gym hopping to get on a winning team - but only to find herself on another losing one. I wonder why Sebi's team wasn't ready to compete? Didn't they already have a routine?

Yes they do have a routine but in one of the most recent vlogs she tried to tip toe around the fact that that team wasn’t ready yet and decided against competing in Daytona.
I remember Kendal getting all excited about Flip City being taken over by Cheer Extreme and how this would be an amazing opportunity for the club with new coaches and new choreographers etc. I’m not sure anything new has happened. Michael is still there. Obviously he’s not that great a coach if they keep losing. Does anyone have varsity tv?
It seems that kapri’s team had a major mistake in round 1 and lost 1.25 while none of the other teams lost anything.

Also, the team that won scored 5-6 points higher than cheer extreme on both days. And their raw score was way higher.

Private lessons are just about advancing the kids’ individual tumbling skills. Improved tumbling is the best way to move up the levels. The kids don’t seem unhappy about going, so it seems fine to go. Probably better than them laying all home all day.

I’ve watched some of Flip City’s routines in previous years and they are pretty good and their skill level isn’t bad, they just tend to be a little sloppy and don’t always have the right difficulty to hit the scoresheet that well (that comes down in large part to coaching). It’s fairly early in the cheer season, so it’s common for there to be more deductions.

The competition in Florida is also pretty fierce, especially among the bigger (D1) gyms. Losing doesn’t necessarily mean you are bad or doing something wrong— sometimes the coaches are doing the best they can with the talent they are given. Sometimes the division is just really strong, even if there’s only a couple teams in it.

Sebi’s team should be ready by now though. It’s early in the season, but not that early.

The Riches don’t live in a hotbed area for cheer, so their options for gyms are pretty limited. The only other D1 option around there is Cheer Florida, and they definitely aren’t winning that much either, although they’re a little better than their current gym. Not sure it’d be worth gym hopping though.

If anyone’s interested in watching their routines on VarsityTV, the routines are usually free for everyone to watch within 5 or so days of the competition.

I should add that if you do go watch the kids’ routines for free on VarsityTV after 5 days, there is no sound. But it at least gives you an idea of what their routines look like.

These D1 cheer divisions are not often easy to win in a state like Florida. That’s why teams tend to fixate on “hitting 0”, because sometimes winning is out of reach and their main aim is to try to do a personal best performance with 0 deductions.

My point about the private lessons is:
The Rich family is killing themselves financially with all these cheer expenses, a large part of which is spent on private lessons. And they’re in a gym that isn’t even winning. I don’t see the point in crippling a family with expenses they cannot afford on a hobby that will get them nowhere in life. If they were a mega rich family and had a stabil income and these expenses weren’t hurting them, then sure. But it’s so bad that they have to sell their house! Madness.

Agreed. But whether they’re winning or losing, it’s not like cheer is a sport that will get you anywhere in life, there’s no financial reward in this. But a parent still tries to provide their kids with whatever opportunities to advance in their sports. Kids do cheer for the pure love of it, and it does teach valuable life lessons like commitment, time management, persistence, etc.

Kendal spends money so frivolously on other things less important than tumbling privates— coffee every day, the constant Target and mall shopping, eating out every day… There are so many things she could cut out before tumbling privates. If the kids want to try to get better, they should continue going. If someone like Brinley doesn’t really feel like it, Kendall shouldn’t force her to go just because she herself is living through their cheer “careers”.

The point that I would try to make about the private lessons is that they seem like a crutch for not taking personal responsibility for their sport. Instead of privates, they could get a family gym membership where the kids could stretch and strength train everyday. They could research group tumbling classes at a local gymnastics studio and maybe come out ahead both financially and skillwise.

Also Florida is a Tebow state. Homeschooled kids have the right to cheer at their local public school if they can make the team. Seems like this might save the Riches some money. If they are going to be moving soon, they should choose an area with strong public middle school and high school cheer teams in case they have to leave their studio.

Of course Kendal would lie about how amazing her kids are. That's the kind of lie she tells. Always self-aggrandizing. When a hard truth slips out it's always: "oh just kidding" or "that was a joke! You guys have no sense of humor."

Okay... What did I just watch?

Why does Daniel sound gleeful about having an abscess? I read the WebMD article. While I'm not a doctor, I honestly don't see anything to be cheerful about. Basically they are caused by an infected scrape, puncture wound or an in grown hair. The body builds a wall around the wound and collects pus, bacteria, dirt and debris within the walls. They can only be treated by draining the wound and if not treated they can lead to a blood infection. Risk factors include poor hygiene or underlying disease. Find a reason to be cheerful. Go ahead, I will wait.

And I forgot to mention that they are often found in the genital area. Feeling more cheerful? Anyone?

And why is Kapri so afraid of that ride? She spends half her life at amusement parks. Shouldn't she be immune?

I think they are back together because abscess equals party. They're having an abscess party. Seriously, why are they so gleeful over pus?

They looked awful cozy sitting together in their bed talking about Daniel’s abscess. There’s a difference between getting along “for the kids” and that. And Im sure they only got one hotel room, and he drove them all. Business as usual when it comes to cheer shit for them.

I still call bullshit to the cheating, yup business as usual Xmas vlogmas divorce was a hoax.

Brins team lost to deductions with those shoes. Do they not know there dirty shoes equals deductions?

I laughed so hard when Top Gun won their division and what I assume was similar to grand champions. Why is she still throwing money in this shit gym? I’d drive an hour for my kids to go to a top level gym and she still talks crap about top gun.
