Did anyone see the new nhance photo of rainbow?

I can see that something has truly been "off" with Lucy this entire pregnancy. Her vlogs were always weeks behind, which was new for her. She even admitted in a couple of them to not feeling herself (down or sad). I wonder if her control with releasing gender and name is because she's felt so out of control during the whole pregnancy? Like maybe the reality of having four kids under five is finally hitting her? Also, I went back and rewatched a couple of Peyson's birth videos and the dynamic between Lucy and Joel definitely changed from Peyson's birth to Chevbo's birth. During Peyson's they were touching a lot, even kissing. Watching what she's uploaded so far of Chevbo's birth, it seems Lucy didn't even want Joel touching her. Did anyone else catch that? Obviously we haven't seen the whole thing, but I was quite surprised when her midwife jumped in the pool with her instead of Joel. I guess Joel had to hold the camera? Weird.

She was so beautiful there! She really aged within those 4 years. I just turned 28 yesterday with 4 children and I still look the same.

Maybe she won't release the name/gender because she has PPD and is having trouble bonding with the baby. I don't get why she doesn't share photos of rainbow other than from the birth... Only reason I can think is that it is a little girl with the worlds biggest bow on her head at all hours..

I see no mention of CNM. Does that mean they are lay midwives? Does that matter with decades of experience? Genuinely curious.

I thought the doula was hired so she can take turns coaching Lucy while Joel watched the kids, and vice versa. If both the doula and Joel were with Lucy, who was watching the kids? One of the midwife assistants?

It's definitely a girl. Boys have pretty swollen genitals when they are born, no way that from those shots you couldn't see anything.

At least that saint of a doula got a little publicity!

This is quite possible. My mom was 39 when she had my brother (her 4th child as well) and he took a week to name. She had HORRIBLE PPD and bonding issues. I wound up having to care for him primarily (I was 16) and my mom only pumped for him. Lucy may have started developing a bonding issue in the last few weeks of her pregnancy and thats why she refused any sort of induction methods. She also may have been hoping to agree to a name in those last few weeks.

I also have a feeling this delay has something to do with the "film" the photographer and videographer are apparently putting together. There has to be some agreement between them and Lucy about not releasing information until the film is done.

Maybe Duchess Eades of the Metro Plex will give her baby the same name as the royal baby? That might explain this ridiculous delay?

There is not enough money or antibiotics in world for me to get into a birth pool while another woman delivered a baby!

Oh I hope she doesn't use "Rose" bc that's going to be my baby's middle name.

But yes, my mom is. CNM and there is a huge difference between that and a lay midwife. Lucy had "practical midwifes" (lay). My mom was a L & D nurse for 15 years or so before returning to school. Shes now been a CNM for quite a while. She does basically everything the doctor does except like c-sections. The level of education is quite different between the two types of midwifes. I would only recommend a lay midwife if the mother is very low risk, and even then things have happened that are outside the scope of practice for a lay midwife to deal with.

Probably so, but I'm still curious about these appointments. Midwife's usually visit the mother at home postnatal. I still have a feeling something arose, PPD or God forbid something with Chevbow

I hope she doesn't use. Rose lol. If we have a girl that's her middle name and I am all set with the Lucy name patrol coming after me lol. I remember when she flipped about a girl on youtube named Stephanie naming her daughter Jacelyn.

Not this soon. She is a non vaccinating mom & all vitals were assessed by midwife.

It can still be a boy, I have all boys and did this pose with my son. It can be done, just takes a bit on manuvering so baby doesn't move. You have to hold their leg in place a few seconds and baby will keepit there. Sorry my photographer is coming out lol
