Ugh I seriously cant take it anymore... lol, this chick is driving me crazy and she knows it. What is the point? Dragging this out like crazy. I want to unfollow on IG soooo bad but goodness, i cant. I like to go on and read the comments for the lulz.... I watched one of her old videos where Jace was teeny tiny and Lucy was actually "camera shy" OHHHHH puhh-lezzz!

I can second that. I was an avid YT mommy follower and thought they were all cool until I came here and found the truth. Shows how fake a person can be when a camera is put in front of their face.

I'm a new member here and while I don't really have too much to say about Lucy or Joel, I will say that I do enjoy her videos and I like them both. I'm a not a "minion" either. I just don't invest in other people's lives, especially those who I don't know. I've learned many things on this site over the past few days that I did not know and yes many of you have valid reasons for not liking her but for me I feel as long as the kids aren't being abused its not my place to judge. Hope I don't get flamed for saying all of that.

I do have a question though, I don't watch all of their videos and probably never will so will someone give me the cliffs notes on the landlord and the photographer she had at Kacen's birth or direct me to the videos?

I think the baby is looking up toward the doula in that photo when s/he has come out of the water, s/he is not looking at Lucy, sucks for her (especially that it's caught on camera).

The appointments are probably just for Kacens nose or whatever injuries him and Jace had, i doubt it's anything important to update on. Speculating about PPD seems silly at one week, they wait till your hormones have settled before considering that as it's so common to have baby blues and all sorts of feelings and not in the beginning.
I was asked about PPD at 6 weeks but it was a little longer before i realized how bad it was.

Question: would you rather be the YT personality that people know deletes all negative comments about her or any opinions that don't totally support her, -or- a YT personality who lets people speak their mind and encourages positive talk without fear of being talked down to and spoken to like you are an idiot?

I feel like there are a lot of YT moms out there who don't delete their comments and just encourage people to talk positively to one another. I feel like Lucy's behavior does completely the oppositve. It breeds a sense of brainwashing among her minions if she only saves the 'we absolutely love you and worship you forever' comments.

landlord - years ago around the time that Kacen was born they lived in this townhouse looking home that was owned by this landlord guy. for some reason he came over one day - i think that it was to look at something that was water damaged but I can't honesty remember since this was 4+ years ago and Lucy was filming everything (of course). She is being her rude self at this point and basically yelling at this guy and at some point jostles the camera and says that he shoves her while she is holding a baby. I think that she called the police but they never did anything. you know that if they did she would have said something about him going to jail and them needing to testify, blah blah blah.

photographer - Lucy hired Lindsey Stone to be her birth photographer. At that time Lindsey's contract stated that she did not offer her photos for share online, i think, unless you purchased a separate CD or something like that - again fuzzy on the details because this is 4 years ago. Lucy posted them erroneously on facebook, LIndsey told her to take them down because she wasn't supposed to post them and she was cropping out the watermark for the photographer. She said it was how the pictures showed up in the thumbnail but when you blew the pics up they had no watermark period. She then got pissed and started making this 'company reviews' of LIndsey's photography business stating that she was unprofessional because she supposedly fell asleep and that she wouldn't give Lucy all of the pictures that she took. It was all a matter of Lucy not being smart enough to read the contract and ask questions up front. She ended up getting some tax lawyer to sue Lindsey and then I'm not sure what happened after that. It all got quiet, so I would imagine a non disclosure agreement was used. Again, you know if Lucy would have won then she would have said like a million times that she was the winner of that. Either way, Lindsey is still a very popular birth photographer in the DFW area and hasn't been hurt a bit by this woman's nonsense. In part of the 'birth community' here in DFW, Lucy is considered a big joke because of how much she overreacts to situations like this. I have heard this from several different sources and I think that it is hilarious everytime that I hear it.

You can then apply for partnership, and if accepted, may start making money with YouTube.

Compensation
After being accepted as a YouTube partner, ads will be run on your video, and your compensation will be based on one of two methods: per 1,000 impressions or per click. Per 1,000 impressions means that you'll receive a certain amount of money per 1,000 views -- as long as the view has an ad on it. If, for instance, someone embeds your video onto a social networking site, and the video doesn't have an ad on it, then you won't receive compensation for those views. The other method is more straightforward, and gives you money based on the amount of clicks that the advertisements on the video receive.

A few people make a good living on YouTube, but it's a very small percentage.

I also used to really enjoy the Eades channel as well. In fact a few years ago we would casually converse with one another, but even before GG I started seeing things that I just personally did not like to see in my "real world" friends. I remember for Kacen's shower she had it at a resta. & the area she reserved still had customers & she literally told the manager that if they didn't get them out she personally was going to tell them to leave; who does that? Lucy has always had bad relations with her & Joel's family, but it boils from them both being rebellious in their teen years. And, "yes" Jacelyn did have pacifiers. But, yet says she never gave ger kids pacifiers. You have to watch over the years & we're not talking 10 years if footage where we could say, "oh, we all change in 10 years", we're talking 4 years. Joel's criminal history doesn't bother me, doesn't affect his ability to be a dad and as long as he makes changes. But, being a habitual liar is a character flaw and unfortunately thats a trait that usually sticks with someone, especially when its fed with praises.

Shes avoiding the absolute truth, because technically the views to not "pay" its the clicks on the ads, but the higher the views the higher odds of more clicks. It goes hand in hand.

I've been watching YouTube for years and have NEVER once clicked on a single ad. I don't know anyone else that would either, they are just annoying to me. So wouldn't she be making next to nothing on YouTube then? I just can't imagine more than a handful of people ever clicking on ads.

Is there a partner out there that can clarify this?
