There's honestly no telling with this woman. Just couldn't imagine it taking this long to name your child! I know they didn't know the gender but shouldn't she have had names lined up already? I had my baby 7 weeks early AND we had a boy after being told we were having a girl my whole pregnancy and we still came up with a name by the time we had to fill out the birth certificate the next day.dfwmom wrote:So we are on day 9 of no name. I wonder if, at this point, they are both just waiting around until the other one gives up.
It wouldn't surprise me if she gives in and lets Joel name the baby and then never calls her that name. I am sure that she will call her Rainbow her whole life.
Also, someone mentioned on here earlier that maybe she hasn't picked a name yet because she is not able to bond with this baby yet and I think that you might be right. In her videos while she was pregnant she talked about once she has the baby that she is very jealous of other people holding her baby and not wanting to not hold her baby, etc. But in her video she isn't holding Rainbow and she lets Joel pick her up and hold her and barely even looks at her. Maybe she really did want a boy and is upset because Rainbow is a girl.

Well we all know that she is uber stubborn and so I can't imagine this being easy. I am honestly amazed that he doesn't go crazy living with her everyday.

She's been eerily quiet on her social media for the past day or so. Not judging just pointing out.
(And no one say "give her a break she just had a baby" crap because she's been steadily posting things since having "Rainbow" and now suddenly stopped)

Joel probably had to start going back to work so she is going crazy with her 3 kids and a newborn at home lolBumbles123 wrote:She's been eerily quiet on her social media for the past day or so. Not judging just pointing out.

I would believe that. I remember before she even had 3 kids, she talked about how there were days she'd call Joel in tears begging him to come home. She was doing that with 2, yet now she's on 4. She is going to lose that last shred of sanity she has left.ButterflyB wrote:Joel probably had to start going back to work so she is going crazy with her 3 kids and a newborn at home lolBumbles123 wrote:She's been eerily quiet on her social media for the past day or so. Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Speaking of which, I wonder when Joel works, like what time his shifts typically are? I know Lucy says the terrible (imo) schedule the family runs on is due to Joel's work, but if that's true, then wouldn't he go to work quite late too? Then he would be home for most of the day with the kids. IDK. I remember her saying he comes home around 11 or 12 and if that's true, then she could easily put the kids to bed earlier and let them spend time with Joel before work the next day. Go to bed at one and get up at seven or eight. That's still more sleep than most moms get. Not that difficult.ButterflyB wrote:Joel probably had to start going back to work so she is going crazy with her 3 kids and a newborn at home lolBumbles123 wrote:She's been eerily quiet on her social media for the past day or so. If he's working an evening serving shift he would probably go in around 3 or so and come home around 11-12. That's why she stays up sooo late and will never send the kids to school that starts at 8 am. They would never see their dad.
Lucy just might pull a Lora and start sending a couple kids off to "school". I think it's going to be hilarious when reality sets in of having 4 kids. Lololol. That's probably why Lola "escaped", Lucy knew she couldn't "dill".

I've always wondered this too. She says the kids stay up late. If my husband worked evenings and didn't get home until 11 or 12, then I'd put the kids to sleep around 7 or 8. She would have time to pick up the house and have time to herself.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Hmmm. I think, if my spouse had that schedule, I would get up early and have the family spend quality time before three. They could all have breakfast together, playtime, read, even go to a park/activity together and have lunch, all before Joel goes to work. The kids would surely be in a better mood for time with daddy after a full night's sleep and a nutritious breakfast than they would after a full day of playing, with family time starting at midnight. IDK, I think it could be done. But of course, that would require a decent routine and getting the kids to bed at an appropriate time.ladybug wrote:If he's working an evening serving shift he would probably go in around 3 or so and come home around 11-12. Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
My point is, the would be in school from 8-2 or around that time frame, and Joel would leave for work around 3ish. So they would get basically an hour or so with their dad I'm guessing. Especially since Joel works weekends (when servers make their best money), and kids are usually off from school. Shes said many times he works a lot if weekend days and Monday is their "family day. Which makes sense bc Monday's are horrible days for money. I'm guessing this is a HUGE part of why she wants to homeschool, so they can have family time around joel's schedule.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
Good point. I just think, homeschooling or not, the family could use a better, more kid-friendly schedule. Even if Joel comes home at 11 or so, the adults could go to bed at 12 or 1 and wake up at 7 or 8. Lucy could even get up with the kids and Joel could sleep in a little longer since he worked. Still plenty of time for family before 3 or so. Especially considering they are homeschooling; during the time 'normal' kids are in school, the kids could be up, spending time with Joel. IDK, just seems a little strange to me.ladybug wrote:My point is, the would be in school from 8-2 or around that time frame, and Joel would leave for work around 3ish. Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
my husband is a cook at a restaurant and if he works a morning shift, he goes in at 11-12 and is home by 3,4 or 5 depending on how busy it is. If he works at night, he goes in at 3:30 or 5:30 and either leaves at 9 or if he closes, wouldn't get out until 12-1am. later on the weekends. The cooks are always the last ones out. He works 40+ hrs/week and still have plenty of time for the kids. My children go to bed at 8-9p. There is no reason why she needs to be keeping them up late just to see him. PUT THEM TO BED AND HE WILL SEE THEM BRIGHT AND EARLY. Gosh. she is so annoying.

Re: xxxJoelPolexxx (Lucy Eades) Part 9
This is assuming that she can do anything for those kids other than drive them around and breastfeed them, which doesn't seem possible. This would mean that she would have to cook for them, bathe them, put them into bed and teach them all day long by herself and she wouldn't/couldn't do that without his help.mommyluvv wrote:my husband is a cook at a restaurant and if he works a morning shift, he goes in at 11-12 and is home by 3,4 or 5 depending on how busy it is. Hey!! Love your vids. I have a few baby name suggestions. Just thought you may wanna hear them!! I knew you wanted rhyming names so for a girl I thought Gracelynn was pretty and for a boy Mason or Grayson I think are cute!! I'm super excited about you being 1/4 or over 1/4 of the way done!!! Can't wait for the next video!

I love Gracelyn & thought about it a lot but my husband & mother hate it & says it reminds them of Grace Land as in Elvis Presely. We have 2 Mason/Macen's in our family & yes one is even spelled Macen

Grayson Storm or Gracelyn Storm

We have both those on our list already My parents aren't a fan of Gracelyn as it reminds them of Grace Land which had a lot of negative limelight. However we still think it's cute so it's on our list, lol

Yeah, KyleandCourt, their son's name is Grayson. So, I am sure that is definitely out of the question for a baby name if they had a boy.lovingmyboys wrote:Doesn't the yt mom the Eades went on vacation with have a son named Grayson (sp)?littlemiss wrote:MissLauraC213 2 years ago
