Of course she does not know what she is in for, she has never been a mom before ...no future mom knows exactly what she is in for no matter what, until you become a mom

lots of people go to water parks while pregnant/with young children for w/e reason I will never understand, seems like people do not grasp the dangers these type of places possess

she could have just been chilling in the water relaxing on the tube.. do not know if she went on the slides or not, do not really see the issue other than the germs!!

water parks are extremely germy

Is it wrong to swim while pregnant? I never swam while I was pregnant, but that was because I was close to my due date when it was warm enough and I didn't want to chance my water breaking in a pool lol. I would imagine being on a lazy river wouldn't be bad. But water slides...? Oh come on common sense tells you that's a stupid idea.

I was looking for documented advice, but didn't really find any. There are arguments for and some against. No one told me I couldn't swim. It does say that outdoor public pools might be safer because of course the air disperses any gases/irritants coming from the chlorination. Going down a waterslide--I would never have done that, and it even seems like it may be a liability for the park, so who knows whether she did or didn't do that. If the chlorination is done properly, and the water is checked throughout the day, technically it should be safe. Swimming is recommended for pregnant woman for it's health benefits, but water quality and air quality are important. I agree, a lazy river thing would seem the safer choice.

I understand not taking super HOT baths or showers. But bathing? Seriously?

Water slides are not okay.

I really doubt she was stupid enough to go on any water slides etc while there. Don't parks typically have signs posted on each slide/attraction reminding people with medical conditions, like pregnancy, to not go on the rides? I don't know what it's like in the US, but in the UK we do, but admittedly we don't have many water parks ha.

Phoeblue yes we have warnings to at water parks theme parks but being pregnant going down a slide isn't the smartest when pregnant nor would the attended in charge of watching that slide allow a pregnant girl on even if the tube there on doesn't flip over like her friend wrote no smart person would allow that unless the they want a lawsuit

I think maybe, she got a lot of hate b/c people said she wasn't. She went out got pregnant, witch brings me back to the fact she said the baby might not come on its due date.

I think she may just have a tall uterus ( I know someone who has had 10 kids and only looked pregnant in her last one because they were twins), or the baby is small and she may be getting a planned c-section as her hips don't look like they have ready themselves for natural birth.

My mom took water aerobics specifically for pregnant women when she was pregnant!
