Ah, ok. That makes sense. It was probably a snap because I skip the majority of them. Too chatty for me and she makes these noises with her mouth that are like nails on a chalkboard to me lol.

One thing I've wondered since she announced the pregnancy is what they're going to do with their house. It is SO tiny, only two bedrooms. The room Scarlet & Luca are sharing is already crammed. Of course the baby will stay with Marie and Ryan for a while, but she's going to need a bed and room at some point. They already added on to their house, I wonder if they'll add a room or if they'll move. Marie was always talking about how there are much bigger houses in their area that are very affordable, but they didn't want to move because of the friendly community they made. I can't imagine 5 people in their little home when Sadie gets bigger.

I remember her saying like a year or two ago that they'd like to have more kids but that 3-4 was their limit because they're so attached to the house and their neighbourhood and don't want to move. That seems like a crazy way to plan your family to me. Scarlett's six now (I think?) and I can't imagine that a 13 year old is going to want to share with a 7 year old, or that a teenage Luca is going to want a teeny tiny cramped bedroom. If you can afford to give your kids more space and privacy then you should! Seems kind of selfish to sacrifice the kids' personal space/privacy so Marie can live out her weird Little House on the Prairie farmer fantasy in their backyard*.

*I actually love homesteading and think people should grow more of their own produce but the way she talks about it is really strange.

Shari from 8 Passengers did share a room with 3 year old Eve when she was 13...but that family is sort of different lol.

The crazy thing to me is that they actually own a plot of land in their neighbourhood that they custom built a small house for Marie's mom on that they now use as a guest house. I think the most sensible thing would be to move the vegetable garden there if there's any yard space, then build an extension with two reasonably sized bedrooms for Sadie and Luca when they're older and Scarlett, Marie, and Ryan can stay in the bedrooms they're currently in. If they need money they should be airbnbing their guest house because hotels in Seattle are $$$$$ and they could potentially make a lot.

I live in a two bedroom and I'm pregnant with baby #2. My daughters room is big enough to share comfortably but we dont plan on having more kids until we buy/build another house. If we did change our mind, I've considered switching bedrooms with my kids because my room is easily twice the size. It's not that ridiculous, its about putting your kids before yourself (general you).

I dont actually recall Marie's bedroom size tho.

Pretty sure they said when they were doing the extension that there was weird planning laws in their area which meant they couldn't extend by much but they love the neighbourhood so didn't want to move elsewhere.

It's a matter of the number of people per room. By the time her youngest doesn't need to share a room with Marie shouldn't 3 people have the bigger room and 2 people have the smaller one? Idk why the poster got her panties in a twist. God forbid she doesn't occupy the master bedroom.

Yeah they built a tiny room off the kitchen supposed to be a play room for the kids, but would be perfect for when Luca gets older (if a little on the small side).

Long time lurker, first time poster here! I used to be a big fan of Marie and her family, but lately I feel like she's gotten a "too big for her britches" attitude. It really irks me when she goes for weeks without posting on her main channel due to "computer issues" yet manages to get her Awestruck videos out as scheduled. But that's not why I'm posting today.
I have never understood her weirdo antics to try and hide her last name, and going to such extremes like changing it on every social media platform. Many Youtubers realize that with a greater following, comes some sort of lack of privacy. You can't have a growing Youtube channel and still keep a completely private life.
So, I'm writing today, to tell you all that I have cracked the code (AKA online searched like an FBI agent) and have found the dirt.....

-Marie's maiden last name is Casey. Her married name is Marie SANTO, and she is 35 years old (she always seems to say "30- something" in her videos). Her personal facebook page is under the name Marie Thatsme.

-Ryan's full name is Ryan Anthony Santo, and he is 43 years old. Which is rather shocking, because I never would've guessed that he was over 40. His personal facebook is under Ryan Anthony; also, if you find Ryan's old facebook page under the name "Buzz" (I think he's still one of Marie's fb friends on her personal page) he is listed in an "open relationship" which makes me wonder about the beginning of Marie and Ryan's relationship. There are older pictures of Marie on that page, so they definitely knew each other at that time.

-Marie's mothers name was Leslie M. Scott, and she was 69 when she passed. (if anyone is interested in knowing)

And if you do a little internet digging, you can even find their address and google maps their teeny home. And I'm not sure how accurate this is, but it seems like Marie's mother lived in the house next door or maybe she owned it at one point because that is the last address listed under her name.

So there it is, folks! All out in the open!

It's not a lot next door, it's an actual house. When I searched their names in Family Tree Now, the house next door was the last address listed under her mother's name.

I'm so over her bs about not being able to post videos on her channel because the internet is down or her camera is lost or some other generic excuse, yet the awestruck videos are allllllways right on time. If she doesn't care that much about her own channel, that's fine. But why make excuses instead of just being real with us? Her fans are ass kissers anyway, surely she knows it wouldn't be a big deal to them to hear that she just doesn't want to put in the effort for her channel.

In some ways, I respect her for her nonchalance about her channel. Being a mom of three is not easy, and raising those three SHOULD be her priority, and she doesn't owe anybody on the internet anything. But she can't live that YouTube life, with the sponsored content and the $$$ and the free stuff, if she doesn't invest some time into maintaining her channel. She's had a lot of opportunities over the years to capitalize on her channel, and she hasn't taken them. She won't get those chances forever, and they're gonna start drying up soon.

I'm so glad you brought this up because I've been sitting on that info for a while. I found their last name through her friend Krystal who used to do youtube. After finding that, all the other info was super easy to find with a quick google search. I never said anything here because I didn't know if it was against the rules. That "Buzzy" facebook of Ryan's gave me a good laugh.
