Of course it doesnr matter since Lily isnt in pain according to her. I remember this bitch saying thank god her hand isnt swollen that time her face or watever was swollen. How the fuck do you say that when youre childs hand is swollen 24/7 and she cant even bother to wrap it or get her gloves -.- plz V get on birth control because the thought of you and Davuud having another kid makes me sick

I said this before already, but clearly V does not like going to Peru. The trip is really for Nona to see her family, V is a disrespectful brat who complains about being there and, like Disney world, expects everyone but her to take care of Lily. The trip is pointless as V does absolutely nothing but goes to flea markets and the movies.
V is a "grown" ass women, she can say no to going or at least leave Lily with David's parents. You would think that V wouldn't want to go back after they told her that David is not allowed to stay at their house.
There's no need for her to go at all, let Nona enjoy a nice vacation with her family without having to deal with V's shenanigans.

I don't know about anyone else here but I don't want my little girl taken into a men's public restroom to go potty.

A.k.a she doesnt wanna do it! When you have a kid both parents do everything IMO (thats how we do it with our kids) I dont say ok your job is to bathe her my job is this etc. V obviously sends Davuud to the bathroom with Lily because shes irritated with it. Thats why she put on fb or wherever she put it that she was mad that Lily kept waking her up to go potty?? Thats y she had a prolapsed rectum because they both dont watch her while shes in the potty, David is clueless her just does whatever V tells him to do

I've noticed that about Vanessa and it bugs the entire shit out of me. I'll take my daughter to the restroom if it's just me and her out in public. But if all three of us are out, it's just common sense for my wife to take her to the bathroom. If we ever have a little boy, then it'd make sense for me to take him to the potty when need be. I don't understand why it's "David's job" to handle the bathroom and car seat duties. That's just fucking lazy on V's part.

But if all three of us are out, it's just common sense for my wife to take her to the bathroom. If we ever have a little boy, then it'd make sense for me to take him to the potty when need be. I don't think my husband EVER took either of our daughters to the restroom, even at home. It wasn't even an issue, or talked about, I just did it. On reflection, no, I wouldn't have wanted my daughters going to a men's restroom. I also didn't love the idea of family restrooms or whatever. But he did definitely do all the carseat duties. I don't think that's a big deal though. I honestly don't know why Vanessa wouldn't be the one helping Lily. I also don't know why as a new driver, she always has to be the main driver. I don't think that's very safe for things like her first major car trip. JMO.

I can see the doctors saying that Lily shouldn't leave the country. I can see them explaining that for Lily, Vanessa needs to do xyz, so this doesn't happen again. So Vanessa thinks, "well, I can do xyz in Peru, what's the difference?"

Lily is going. The fact that Vanessa is still considering it tells us all we have to know.

I'm curious as to how healthcare works in Peru, and if lily would be able to go to a hospital if need be. Hopefully they have travel insurance, although for a pre existing condition I can see them not covering it.

I have a question. This may have already been asked and answered so I apologize if it has.
Is it just standard procedure for the hospitals in the US to do that 'rooming in' thing for the last few days just prior to discharge from the hospital for the parent of a newborn with special needs?
I think it's a great idea for anyone who has a newborn with a special needs- teen or not, but was wondering if the nurses felt like Banessa needed extra teaching and observation.
Just curious. Fortunately both of mine were born healthy so didn't know if that's something the hospitals require for every parent of a special needs baby. Hope that made sense.

I'm not in America but my daughter was born prematurely and spent a little time in the NICU and we also had to do a "rooming in" thing, just for one night and I was just on the hospital ward. It's more for the baby than for the mother, it's to make sure the baby is ok without monitors and nurses around. The mother has to do all feeding, changing and temp checking etc on their own and it tests how the baby copes outside of the NICU before going home so they can be sure the baby is ready to leave the hospital. My guess would be that because lily is more "special needs" than the average baby that's why Vanessa spent a few days rooming in and not just overnight.
