She looks JUST like Grandberry, wow. And her mouth shape/smile reminds me of MG a bit too.

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
We don't know anything about their relationship. We don't know that he's supportive, just because he waited for her and _Cullen_ thinks he is a great guy? Not a ringing endorsement to me. Who knows? Maybe he'll be saying "Babe, don't go to the meeting! Stay here with mee!"boredmamaneedsdrama wrote:This house debate is hilarious to me. I'm a SAHM, does that mean the beautiful home my husband and I built together is not mine? Lol.
And this is all under the assumption that she didn't put any money towards the house. As pointed out, she could have inherited some money. And they have been together since 2013, this could very easily be something they were already working towards before she went to jail.
And how is it a bad idea for her to be "rushing" into these things? Now she's living in her own stable home with a stable, supportive partner who can help her through recovery. As opposed to struggling to get by somewhere else all on her own. Her family is obviously supportive but they all got their own lives going on. I find it much more beneficial to have a partner that can hold her accountable and help her through this delicate time.
And nobody said she should be in a dump all alone.
I said I was putting my point badly about the house, but I am not going to go on about that.
I just have one more thing to say. A nice house is no insurance against a relapse. One of my friends who died burned down his beautiful million dollar home with himself and his garage full of Ferraris in it. A nice house and a boyfriend won't keep her clean. She has to do that, no matter where she lives or with whom she is living.
I think everyone here wishes her the best. And those of us who think.maybe she should be taking things more slowly and not rushing into moving in with a guy and talking about babies aren't meanies who want her to fail.

Was she using or dealing or both?

If you google her name and Alabama, her arrest record, jail and bonding info, and news articles about her arrest and when she was caught with drugs in prison come up with her mug shot and everything.marshmallowfluf wrote:How did we find out that she was ever in prison in the first place? Is there proof of it? Not trying to argue that it didn’t happen, i am just curious.

Both. Not sure if sharing the details here is allowed or not. It's all very easy to find if you Google her name. There's a few newspaper stories.Ducklings4 wrote:Was she using or dealing or both?

Again with using their kids' illness/injury as titles and thumbnails.
A quote from Cullen while Gaines was cleaning up in the play room: "Playdoh is a hell of a drug." I found that really weird for him to say with his sister just getting out of jail for felony drug charges.
Cullen made the kids dinner... grilled cheese, green beans, and potato chips. Who seriously gives their 1 year old (or even 3 year old) chips as a side dish?

Why were they having chips for dinner at all? Maybe it's a regional thing but I only ever see people eating chips at lunch or as a snack food (unless it's a grill or a sports game or something).askeptichere wrote:Again with using their kids' illness/injury as titles and thumbnails.

Brooks' eye was so strange.. it honestly looked like he had some facial paralysis or something. I'm glad Katie went on to say that he was still smiling fine and all that bc it honestly looked like a symptom of a stroke. Has anyone else seen this in their kids? can you have facial paralysis from just sleeping really hard on your face? lol

Something similar happened to my daughter. All of a sudden one of her eyes looked just like Brooks’ did. Lasted a few hours, and by the next Day was back to normal. There wasn’t any puss or redness. Never took her to the doctor since it went away so quickly, so no idea what it was. Never happened again.Playsinrain wrote:Brooks' eye was so strange.. it honestly looked like he had some facial paralysis or something. Didn't Brooks have trouble with that same eye as a newborn? I remember a few videos about it and Katie putting breastmilk in his eye, but I can't remember which one it was.

I thought about that too! I think it was the same eye and it was a clogged duct that time..Defuego wrote:Didn't Brooks have trouble with that same eye as a newborn? I remember a few videos about it and Katie putting breastmilk in his eye, but I can't remember which one it was.

I absolutely caught that comment and am shocked nobody else picked up on it. I guess I didn't want to come off as the "bad person" who knew what she was talking about lol.FreedomTrain5 wrote:Long time lurker but I had to join to ask, did no one find Brittanys "ill have a garden, a special garden" in her basement comment with laughter all around a bit...interesting...

When Cullen did the closeup of Brooks smiling in the high chair, he looked exactly like Bennett.

That seems like a dumb thing to say fresh out of jail.

Re: C&K: The Struggle is Real...ly Hard to Relate (Part 14)
Also he posted a funny post during Christmas 2016 where he showed a picture of him sitting alone in a room, it seemed a hotel room, and captioned that usually people where about being together with Christmas and all that (but here he was sitting all alone), and Grandberry responded that he was always welcome in her home, with an emoji of a present and I believe a Christmas tree. At least a couple of months earlier, I'm not completely sure if it was summer 2016 (or a little later), but I think it was summer, Cory wrote something like "this is the reason Grandberry likes me" (btw, you are really comfortable with each other if you feel you can express this to your "mother in law" IMO), and she replied like "totally true, but correction, there are way more traits and talents of yours that I like/that are likeable." It might be that Grandberry and Cory started following each other on Instagram (and other social media) in the summer of 2016, because I didn't see any earlier mentions of Grandberry in his posts, and I went pretty far back in time. His Instagram posts are quite funny and engaging to read!ewokfan11 wrote:From his Instagram pics you can tell they've been together since before she was even arrested - and they must have met in Colorado. He works (or maybe worked) for a place called NDT Group - a company that does pipeline work - which is based in Canada. He's in Alabama because Britney most likely isn't allowed to travel to Canada, but I am really curious if he's going to be able to work in the US.lmmomSD wrote:Yep-- I'm dying for the tea on this. For him to stand by her when she got convicted and wait for her, is pretty amazing.Playsinrain wrote:I wish we knew more about Corey....what’s his backstory and how did he wind up in Alabama? how the heck did she meet him and how long have they been together? The whole family seems comfortable around him, so it seems this isn’t the first time they have met... it’s just... strange.
Here's the earliest pic of them together on his IG - from June 2013: https://www.instagram.com/p/aciipHjtiw/ ... rythekid86
It seems like she's only been out of a jail about a WEEK, so this living situation does seem quite rushed. I'm sure it was planned when she was still in jail, but JEEZ that's a ton of big changes for someone with a lot to deal with. Hopefully it works out for her!
The house they are living in is a Belgian style house by the way, in particular the bricks and the roof tiles

I also noticed she said she would have a "special garden", and I'm also not so sure if I like that secret door stuff, lol. I sincerely hope things will work out well for her and can be behind her for good.
