So this girl is a teen mum who has just had twins. She seems really switched on and good at being a mum. The only thing is, her boyfriend (the dad of the twin babies) is there every day with her and the babies but has refused to have his name put on the birth certificate.. everyone in the comments is telling her that it sounds like he might do a runner. She doesn’t seem concerned though. I think he’s making her look like a mug. Does anyone else watch her?

Omg yes! This is exactly what I said. I’ve heard of some teen moms not putting the father on the birth certificate, but the fact she wanted to put him on and he refused is so sketchy. I feel like he might up and leave when they get a little older because he probs feel bad about leaving her with two infants. I also think the twins are really not cute, but I also really hate infant so that might be it

She mentioned that he was nervous to fulfil his role as the father and that’s why he didn’t want to be on the certificate.. but SORRY!! You got her pregnant! You step up and be a father! It’s shameful how he isn’t stepping up. She’s just carried on like normal.

Honestly I feel bad for this girl.
But seems like her channel grew like crazy since she’s a teen mom .... I believe she was 14 when she got pregnant wtf?!? Lol. That made me watch her videos. She’s probably already making money on YouTube. I just hope it doesn’t turn like another Jessica

I like her too. I thought it was really suspicious that Josh didn't want his name on the birth certificate, or let them have his last name. I j hope she has a lot of common sense in the long run

I thought her birth story was fishy - I think she had a c section
1) her age to have one child naturally is risky enough due to her hips not being mature enough let alone two
2) not many drs are supporters of natural birth for young girls or twin pregnancies especially not both mixed
3) they would never have you give birth in a c section room - those are left free for scheduled or emergency c sections, most hospitals have 1-2 rooms and they could never perform a natural birth in one cause if there is any actual emergency c section clean up time would take way to long invetween patients
4) she mentioned she wasn’t allowed to record it - that only happens to people having a c section
5) the photo the way she was dressed and he was dressed just didn’t seem like a natural birth
6) the after birth story was a lot like a c section birth story

I’m a student nurse specialising in midwifery (pregnancy nurse) and her story made no sense it all aligned with c section except for the birthing part where she just said it was natural.

I’m not hating it’s completly logical and understandable for her to have had a c section but I hate that she lied for views not clickbait but full on lie- it left a sour taste in my mouth about her ...

Not even a minute into there newest video and josh says that he pushed sophie to focus on YouTube more because “it’s worth there time” sounds like he’s a paper chaser. Super sketchy to me! Anyone else see this? It also sounds like she’s leaving her job for YouTube? When are all these teen mom YouTubers gonna learn that it is not a guaranteed job/ income?!

OMG I know I though that was so stupid ... I don’t understand why these teen mom drop out for youtube or focus more on youtube it’s not guaranteed income her channel could get demonitised or people may not like her in a few years - ALL teen moms who think youtube is the end like that’s they ticket into being rich need a reality check cause once they aren’t teens and can’t use the teen mom titles only the ones with good editing and entertaining content will continue to thrive the others will be forgotten ... and not many of the teen moms have the greatest editing skills They need to follow Madeline and Eric’s example they are using YouTube as job so they can maximise their study time and when they graduate they will go into their field and do YouTube on the sideline (the girl is law and the boy is economics)

I don’t agree at all. It never crossed my mind at all until I read this comment, so I went back and watched parts of her videos and nothing seems suspicious to me.

High risk births or procedures are often done in the operating theatre at a lot of hospitals. Eg breaking someone’s water with a really high head is done in theatres in case of cord prolapse, trial of instrumental with a high fetal head etc etc. It seems very right to me that she would birth there.

To address your concerns one by one:
1. Not at all. She wasn’t 12 or 13. She was 17. It’s definitely young but not necessarily a concern biologically, and it’s not like she had a huge baby on board. It’s not like twins are much of a concern in her situation because it’s just pushing two small babies out, not one huge baby that might not fit through her developing pelvis
2. I guess this one is pretty subjective. Some doctors/hospitals don’t do twin vaginal births but she just has to go to one that allows it.
3. Already addressed above
4. I definitely know of hospitals that don’t allow/don’t like recording. Often photos are okay but no video. I think it’s a liability thing.
5. Im assuming she was dressed like that because it was happening in the theatre (if they had to quickly change to caesarean, she would be already prepped)
6. Not sure which bits of her postpartum you’re talking about here. I couldn’t find anything suspicious in what she said?

Anyway, I don’t think you have to think this about her because I don’t think her story is suspicious at all!

I also don’t really like how teen mums who decide to finish their education get praised etc for all their hard work. It’s always the teen mums parents who end up raising the kids. The way I see it is you can do motherhood half assed and school half assed or you can do one or the other. I just don’t see how such a young girl can properly look after 2 babies and also pass all her exams etc. Josh is going to run as soon as he gets a pay check from her YouTube channel

I'm p sure she had the babies the first day of winter break in February so she went back the first day back from break, not 2 days after giving birth

I personally like her. I think she seems like a kid with a good
head on her shoulders. She has said that the thing about the birth certificate was technically her mom's idea and he agreed. I still think it is sketchy as hell and he should step up and put his name on or he will feel like he can dip any day.

So is she friends with Camryn from Cam and Fam? I know she mentioned going to California and I know Cam is going there soon to meet up with other moms like Liola from Sparkly Family Vlog. Honestly, I think it is foolish to be traveling with premature twins... They are four months and have only been out of the hospital two months. this whole vidcon trip was so weird. it’s so obvious she’s trying so hard to be a part of the ‘cool kids’ gang. i could not imagine reaching out to a family i didn’t know (the van clan) and asking if i could stay with them at their house!!!! then trying to stay in an airbnb with more families i didn’t know a few weeks before the trip. the fact that they paid thousands of dollars for uber’s just to go to the airbnb with all the other teen moms is crazy to me. was seeing and meeting up with them at vidcon not enough????? she reeks of desperation
